Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Inside a train crowded with passengers,

a girl wearing glasses sat calmly while reading the novel she had brought with her. She paid no attention to the situation around her, completely absorbed in the pages before her.

The novel was titled "Viola The Vampire."

It told the story of a vampire named Viola who worked together with Jota, a human, to eradicate all vampires.

Many people considered it an excellent fantasy novel.

At the moment, however, it was on hiatus, with the latest release ending at Chapter 50.

The train slowly came to a stop,

signaling that it had reached its destination station.

Sofia chose to wait until the other passengers got off first so she wouldn't have to push through the crowd.

She closed her novel casually, not in the slightest hurry.

Suddenly, a deep voice rang clearly in her ears.

"You will enter the novel at the newest chapter."

Sofia turned and looked around. Yet no one was there. All the passengers had disappeared without a trace, and even the train staff were nowhere to be seen.

"You will play the role of Viola."

The mysterious voice spoke for the last time.

Sofia had no chance to ask questions—let alone protest. Her consciousness suddenly felt pulled away—

then everything went dark.

When her awareness returned, Sofia realized something.

She was now inside Viola's body—the main character in the novel she had just been reading.

She had entered the novel "Viola The Vampire" at its latest chapter.

Sofia was now fully conscious.

She had taken over the body of the main character, Viola—a short-haired vampire.

At the moment, she stood beside a tall man dressed in a neat black suit, his black hair slicked back tidily.

His appearance perfectly matched the description of a character named Jota—Viola's partner. In the novel, Jota was portrayed as calm and handsome.

Jota turned toward her.

"Why are you spacing out?" he asked casually.

Sofia thought hard. She had to answer as Viola—a figure known for her wild and stubborn personality.

Finally, Sofia decided to act the part.

"It's nothing," she replied indifferently, mimicking Viola's attitude.

Jota didn't respond. He simply turned his gaze away again.

In the original story, Viola was known as a vampire who had betrayed her own kind. Up to the latest volume, the reason behind that betrayal remained a mystery.

From the moment her consciousness entered Viola's body, Sofia felt something unusual. Her throat was extremely dry, as if she hadn't drunk anything for a long time.

It wasn't ordinary thirst—it was a far stronger, more urgent craving.

"Looks like it's time for you to drink," Jota said from beside her.

He handed Viola a bottle filled with fresh human blood.

To an ordinary human, the smell might have been sharp and unpleasant. But to Viola, the scent was incredibly fragrant and tempting.

Though a feeling of disgust briefly surfaced, Viola knew she had no other choice. A vampire who restrained herself for too long risked losing control.

Hesitantly, she opened the bottle. Closing her eyes, she drank quickly, trying to ignore her own thoughts.

Yet what she felt was nothing like she had imagined.

The taste was delicious—fresh, warm, and layered with a depth she couldn't explain.

Without realizing it, Viola kept drinking until the bottle was empty, leaving not a single drop behind.

The thirst that had plagued her finally vanished.
