Jay grabbed Keifer's wrist, her voice trembling.
"Keifer… stop. Please."
He froze instantly.
Not because he was scared. But because it was her.
Jay's eyes softened. "You don't have to fight for me."
Keifer shook his head slowly. "I'm not fighting for you. I'm fighting because he shouldn't even be near you."
Yuri tried to stand, but Keifer shot him a glare so sharp he sat back down.
Jasfer clapped like a proud dad. "That's my daughter and son‑in‑law!"
At the exact same time, Serina said with a glowing smile:
"That's my son and daughter‑in‑law!"
Jay covered her face. "Mom… Dad… please."
Aries and Percy stood behind them with identical deadpan expressions.
Aries: "Why am I here." Percy: "Why am I here."
Jay's grandma smacked both with her cane. "Stop complaining. This is better than TV."
Yuri's grandma shrieked, "My Yuri is a gentleman!"
Jay's grandma hit her again. "Your grandson is a walking red flag."
The crowd laughed nervously.
But Jay and Keifer didn't hear any of it.
They were still staring at each other — the world fading around them.
Serina stepped forward, her expression turning serious.
"Jay. Keifer. Everyone. You deserve the truth. The real one."
Percy groaned. "Finally."
Aries sighed. "Here we go."
Jasfer nudged Serina. "Tell it dramatically. They love drama."
Serina rolled her eyes but began.
Serina looked at Keifer first.
"You know I was married to Keizer. But you don't know what that marriage really was."
Keifer swallowed hard.
Serina continued.
"When I married Keizer, he wasn't the monster he is now. He was charming. Smart. Ambitious. Everyone believed he would build an empire."
Jay squeezed Serina's hand.
"But after Keifer was born," Serina said softly, "everything changed."
Keizer became controlling. Obsessive. Violent.
"He didn't love me," Serina whispered. "He loved power. And he saw me as something he owned."
Keifer's fists clenched.
"One day," Serina continued, "I discovered documents — proof that Keizer was laundering money, bribing officials, and planning to expand into arms trafficking."
Jay's breath caught.
Serina nodded. "Yes. I had had seen the proof. That's why he wanted me dead."
"I tried to leave," Serina said. "I tried to take Keifer with me."
Keizer found out.
"He threatened to kill Keifer if I ever tried to run again."
Keifer's eyes widened in horror.
"So I made the hardest choice of my life," Serina whispered. "I pretended to commit sucide."
Jay covered her mouth.
Keifer shook his head. "No… Mom…"
Serina touched his cheek gently.
"I didn't abandon you. I saved you."
Jasfer raised a hand proudly.
"And that's where I come in. Childhood best friend, genius, and still handsome."
Percy muttered, "Debatable."
Jasfer ignored him.
"I helped Serina disappear. We faked her death. Hid her. Protected her. And together, we built J&S Enterprises — a company strong enough to fight Keizer from the shadows."
Jay blinked. "You built J&S… to take Keizer down?"
Serina nodded. "Yes. And to protect Keifer."
Percy stepped forward dramatically.
"And now… my turn."
Aries groaned. "Oh no."
Percy flipped his hair.
"I didn't die. I faked my death too."
The room gasped.
Percy smirked. "Yes, yes, I know. Tragic. Handsome boy gone too soon."
Jay elbowed him. "Percy, focus."
"Fine," he said. "When the car accident happened, I was saved my the local men. But then the doctors said that I had to go to New York for my treatment cause I was badly injured and I stayed there for the rest of my life since I had to take care of Mariano Enterprise in New York cause the main branch is there."
Keifer stared at him. "You… you were alive this whole time?"
Percy nodded. "And still fabulous."
Aries sighed. "I want to go home."
Jay looked at Serina, eyes soft.
"You went through all of that… alone?"
Serina shook her head.
"No. I had Jasfer. And later… I had you."
Jay blinked. "Me?"
"You were the only one brave enough to help me rebuild," Serina said. "You're not just my daughter‑in‑law. You're my daughter."
Jay's eyes filled with tears.
Keifer watched — heart twisting — because Jay deserved that love.
And Serina wasn't done.
She turned to Keifer.
"And you… you deserve the truth. You deserve your mother back."
Keifer swallowed hard.
Then Serina smiled.
"And you deserve Jay."
Jay's breath hitched.
Keifer froze.
Jasfer clapped again. "Jayfer forever!"
Serina nodded proudly. "Jayfer forever."
Aries and Percy both groaned.
Yuri's grandma screamed.
And Jay and Keifer… They just stared at each other.
Because now they knew:
Their love wasn't just theirs.
It was destiny.
It was protected.
It was meant.
