Gale, Ralian, and Jin captured in their clutches trying to make their way back the town Rawardia to claim their reward of 1020 gold. But suddenly they had hit a road block, on the path is was covered in boulders and logs perhaps it was cause with their tussle with Jin.
"It might take a while till we remove all the rubble"
"Can't you summon a travel tree"
"No I can't, no trees here have the same markings, and I only put such markings in villages to my home realm and this world"
"Perhaps we should take a different direction how about the woodland bridge" Ralian agrees to Gale's suggestion that the bridge is another short cut to the town but they have to go through the forest of mud water then to another village then making their way to Rawardia and soon took the path to the woodland bridge while there is still light ahead. Along their journey towards the bridge they encountered many animal along the way being a wolf, birds, until making camp of lack of sunlight, but Gale and Ralian had to take shifts on their little guest if Jin ever tries to make an escape. But he never did ran away they only look at him looking at the night sky and the bright stars feeling the cool breeze onto his face smiling happily. The view kind of freaked Gale and Ralian by the sight of it, but they best to ignore it. Once mourning soon dawn to the three they began making their journey towards the bridge again it was a long road ahead for them.
"So I've been wondering all trip" Jin being curious
"What is it" Gale replied as they felt a slight nudged "Gale you shouldn't be talking to our prisoner like that" Ralian quickly interrupting their conversation.
"What he asked a question, and I got to answer"
"Yeah but what if he's trying to stall"
"Ralian you should never judge someone by a simple question, maybe it's important. Ask away Jin"
"Thanks you Gale. So Ralian since your a Druid how come you didn't summon any lighting during the whole case"
"And so what, my vine would've easily dealt you already"
"But it would've been more easier to using a lightning spell on me to get a direct hit. I am most vulnerable to lightning" Jin secretly winking to himself, but had piqued Gale's curiosity.
"He's got a good point Ralian" Ralian suddenly gets embarrassed as she puts on her hood covering her face away from the others.
"So Ralian can you summon lightning" Gale asking one more time.
"Hey Gale I think Ralain can't summon lightning" Jin trying to whisper to Gale.
Gale's eyes within the helmet out of surprise and shock towards Ralian, "seriously! All this time travelling with you I never thought you can't cast lightning"
Suddenly Gale was smacked in the head by Ralian out of frustration and being too loud, "listen even though I can't cast lightning, even if every Druid learns it, my power over nature is still enough"
"So that's a yes or a no" Ralian started to get more frustrated over the two bickering over her not being able to cast lightning, and was about to lose it out of shear anger. But suddenly Jin stopped talking to Gale as he then stayed silent they were confused but Ralian took the opportunity to allow her to calm herself down.
But one the way they then see a crowd of people onto the starting point of the bridge Gale and Ralian didn't understand what is happening but needed to investigate the situation and what they saw shocked them the bridge was destroyed.
"What on earth?" Gale shocked out of their armour and then a short buff bushy builder came towards the three .
"You see it too huh" said the builder but Ralian suddenly knew from the appearance alone from who this short person was. "Wait are you a dwarf, I never thought I would ever seen one again" Ralian surprised to see a dwarf for the first time.
"I understand that I am a dwarf, but can you keep your pipes down, nowadays my people would rather work in a more productive and quiet life."
"But aren't you dwarves known for creating the best technology known to mankind?"
The dwarf builder quickly shuts Ralian before anyone hears "how many times do I... never mind just keep it a secret. But anyways you see the conditions of the bridge right." The dwarf builder pointing at the destroyed bridge.
"What happened to the bridge" Gale asked
"Well a few days ago, out of nowhere but a huge storm suddenly appeared and decimated the whole bridge".
Gale and Ralian starting to process the key words that were spoken from on of the people here "a storm appeared you say?" "And came out of nowhere?" Suddenly both came to a conclusion and slowly approached Jin.
They both look at Jin in pure shock, "did you decimate that bridge, and answer honestly"
They can see the embarrass face on Jin's face "well to put it likely yes" a moment of silence was too loud but a gust was wind was acceptable.
"Why in god greens earth would you do that! That took months for builders to make that bridge!" Ralian shouting at Jin
"Well hunters were onto my trail, and I kind of made into a trap" before Gale and Ralian came for Jin's bounty there were seven bounty hunters coming for Jin and he had purposely lead all seven hunters to the Woodland Bridge. Summoning a mighty hurricane to surround them, then congratulating a huge fist made of wind and slams it down towards all seven hunters destroying the bridge in the process. This is how Jin easily defeated all seven hunters.
"Well I suppose that how that whole charade went out" Gale and Ralian looked at each other in complete disbelief.
"Hey Gale, is it just me or were those hunters weak or lack a sense of awareness"
"Th-then if so how the heck did we manage to defeat him?"
"Well if that's the case, I suppose the only choice we have is to fix the bridge"
"You sure aren't there another path we can take?"
"Gale I'm not travelling another hundred miles towards another path that is decimated"
"Ugh, fine we should be getting start soon" Ralian sees some builders nearby trying to reconstruct the bridge.
"Let's go assist that dwarf and those builders Gale" Gale agrees and the two starts walking towards the builders to assist them.
"Oh adventurers do you need anything?" The dwarf builder asked
"We would like to assist you guys on reconstructing the bridge"
"Well I'll be a mountains peak, that kind very of you" the builder soon points where the logs are
"We already chopped down trees" but when the dwarf builder saw Ralian's appearance from her markings, antlers and pointy ears, "excuse me ma'am, are you a Druid" "yes dwarf, how did you know"
"Just from appearance along, but never mind that, can you expand the logs so it can reach across the bridge"
"Okay Gale can, you carry the logs"
"We only need four logs, placed it near the bridge" Gale hearing the instructions carries four logs, places all four logs near the bridge, then Ralian uses an incantation as her hands begins to low once more. The logs starts growing roots from the bottom then the other end of the log starts to expand and reaches all the way towards the other end of the bridge connecting as a temporary bridge.
"Hm, I gotta say not a bad bridge"
"It won't last long the roots would soon deteriorate with only a day or two"
"That's fine we only need this dang, bridge to hold up so we can bring in some supplies back"
"Well its been a pleasure assisting you all"
"But I suppose I should pay you two now"
"Oh, no thanks sir we don't need to get payed"
"Why not you two were will to help us, also call me Geek one of the few dwarves remaining, you deserve it". As soon Geek was about to hand Ralian the bag of gold, suddenly an arrow shot through a bush penetrating Geeks shoulder. Ralian shocked to see the horrific act to sudden, quickly snaps out of the sight, and looks at the bush and quick to retaliate and fires two arrow towards the attack. Gale quickly catches Geek onto their arms "a-are you okay" "ye-yeah I think so, what was that" "Ralian" "Gale get your weapons out we're being ambush". Seven hunters began emerging out of the forest weapons out and ready to kill their target. Jin has a shocked expression once those hunters emerges as he knows who these people are after.
