Year 2025, Shibuya, Japan :
A group of teenagers on their way back home at 6 pm planned on visiting an abandoned building located at the outskirts of the city.
Next morning, the police visits the location leading to the discovery of mutilated bodies and rotten flesh after reports for missing individuals not returning home entire night.
Report: 'Culprit was not found, not even a trace of presence of culprit was there'.
Year 2037, New Zealand :
A 34 year old middle aged man returning home from work notices something peculiar. He notices that there is a huge building at the place where his home was located. He pulled out his phone from his pocket and took a picture. The very next moment he sees his house back with no trace of building present.
The media covered his story briefly with many saying that the photo is edited while many believing his story. To this day, no explanation was found for this event.
Year 2042, Australia :
A few people laying on the grass watching the night sky when suddenly they see a celestial object coming towards them from the cosmos.
At first they didn't think of it much until it had an impact and the entire Australian continent sank into the sea.
The celestial objects that fell onto Earth were not big in size but their destruction was massive.
They had peculiar properties. Some scientists called them extraterrestrial and other called them extra dimensional objects having a physical appearance in 4D world.
Although their theories differed but they all knew one thing for sure and that was these objects were meta physical in nature and hardly obeyed basic laws of physics including gravity.
Year 2043, The year after the catastrophe in 2042 :
The gravitation field of the Earth weakened visibly, resulting in crop loss and less food supply.
Many scientists tried experimenting with the celestial objects to fix the issue regarding gravity but it only worsened.
The only solution they came up with was to abandon Earth and settle on a foreign planet.
But since the gravitational anomaly was not extreme and humans also didn't have enough resources to actually travel to another planet, they dropped this thought for a while.
But the studies on celestial objects lead to shocking discoveries, one that shocked the world was that heart is the only organ in human body that had a metaphysical representation in a higher dimensional plane.
This resolved many questions for why humans feel pain when their loved ones are in pain, no matter the distance between them.
The Xen Artifacts also first appeared during this time after the celestial objects fell on Earth.
Since the celestial objects were meta-physical in nature, many scientists researched on it and found a way to extract and use chunks of those objects into static machines.
They used machines like swords having a dedicated processor supporting AI life, staffs, orbs, bracelets and fused them with chunks of celestial objects.
Such Artifacts could harbor the nature of the celestial object it was fused it.
Some possessed the power to teleport while others possessed the power to do other supernatural tasks.

Now it is the year 2051
The gravitation field of the Earth has weakened to the point that children could not breath normally in open air due to various dust particles containing nitrogen reaction products because of not settling into the soil completely.
A 26 year old young physicist living in one of the apartments of "The Whitemore" building offering a simplistic design and good living standards for a cheaper price as compared to other available apartments.
His name is "Ellsworth", who completed his graduation from Oxford, England.
Born in Japan, he had an outstanding grade marking him for scholarship in the west which he availed.
Currently he is hired to research on the celestial objects that fell from the cosmos back in 2042.
Plus he is currently hired to create Xen Artifacts by a multi-billion dollar company.
In the year 2050, due to contributions from George, some neurologists designed a chip that could be inserted inside the human brain for 5 years and they will learn every knowledge there is in the entire world without any need for studying.
But due to public aggressiveness over such a invention, the norm was then made a law that only people who have graduated could only apply for this procedure.
Ellsworth also had this procedure done on him.
At 6:00 am in the morning :
He hears a voice echoing in his ears whilst he is asleep, a feminine voice.
"Wake up, geez! I have been trying to wake you up for 10 minutes now. You got to go to work too and don't forget to drop me to my parents house. It's been a while since I last visited them."
"I am awake! Don't bother me, I am just waiting to regain some composure, you go and prepare some breakfast"
Ellsworth was married to his high-school love named "Rose" and had a 3 year old daughter too named "Ellie".
One could say that he was living a perfect life.
He wakes up and brushes his teeth. Tidy himself up and asks his wife to get Ellie and herself ready.
After having 2 slices of bread and 2 poached eggs for breakfast, he sits in the lounge waiting 30 minutes for his wife.
A while later, he hears a voice
"I am ready, darling! Tell me, do I look stunning?"
On hearing this, he shifts his gaze towards his wife who was wearing a dark blood red dress sparkling with shiny silver and golden dust on top.
She had a grin on her face, light brown hairs dyed dark blue from the tips of hair only. She looked stunning.
One could easily mistake her for a celebrity due to her looks.
"You look stunning, the same as the day I first met you!"
He walks up to his wife and leans in for a kiss but she pushes him back
"Not now! Sorry"
She puffed her cheeks and asked Ells to drive them to her parents house.
He took his coat and keys and went down in his car.
Waiting for his wife and daughter and then dropping them to their location, he went to the research lab located in the restricted zone specifically identified by the government.
He drove his car into sector 206 dedicated for direct contact analysis of the sealed celestial object constantly emitting various types of radiation thought visibly lethal and extremely fatal but they didn't affect the human body at all.
After parking his car, he went to the waiting room where lab members wait for their colleagues.
Entering the waiting room, he hears a familiar voice echoing in his ears and suddenly felt a sharp pain on his back from the slap followed by a loud sound.
"Ells, it's been a while since we last worked together. I hope the vacations went good for you.
Where is your staff by the way? I usually see it with you all the time and also it's not allowed for us to roam without our corresponding artifacts"
As expected, there is only one fool in the entire sector that actually goes up to everyone and pokes them in the face asking them how they are without worrying if it annoys them.
I am gonna beat him up someday
"I have sent it for an upgrade with the latest AI model that works offline and a battery made from the chunks of 0-000087 artifact"
In the beginning, there were only 347 celestial objects that fell onto Earth, but due to their extra dimensional nature, they attracted other celestial objects and manifested them in the physical world from thin air.
Currently there are more than 100k artifacts present on Earth.
They both sat together on a bench, waiting for others to join them.
