"T-Your hand… what happened to it? Tell me, what were you doing at home, huh?" Kaisar asked Vero.
"I wasn't doing anything. I fell in the bathroom."
Kaisar crouched in front of him. "You need to be more careful, you know? Your mom would tear down the entire hospital and everyone in it if anything bad happened to you."
"Really?" Vero let out a small laugh.
"Just look at her now. Aren't her eyes practically popping out of her head?"
Vero turned his head. Amara was indeed wearing an angry expression, her pride soaring to the seventh sky to admit that she was relieved to run into Kaisar here.
"Yeah, I guess that's true."
Amara walked past Kaisar without sparing him a single glance. "I'm going to the pharmacy to get the medicine," she said.
Kaisar didn't react much. He stayed with Vero even though the woman acted indifferent.
While waiting for the medicine, Amara watched them from a distance. Kaisar led Vero to a waiting chair and talked to him there.
