C H A P T E R :- 3
Ren walked out of the college gates, but something felt off. He looked irritated, as if something from the earlier lecture was still clawing at his mind.
But then, you can never truly measure a man who wears a mask.
Within moments, Ren cleared his mind, pushing away the thoughts that had surfaced in the classroom. His expression shifted, and once again, the "Normal Ren" returned to the surface.
As he was heading back, a sharp, piercing scream sliced through the air.
In a deserted alley, a group of delinquents—students themselves—were cornering a girl. There were three of them: one tall and well-built, another short and stout, and a third, thin boy who seemed hesitant, his eyes darting around in fear as if he didn't want to be there.
The girl was pressed against the cold wall, trapped by their presence.
The tall, somewhat handsome leader sneered, "I've been trying to catch you for a while now, you bitch. But you always had your brother with you. Finally, you're alone."
The girl glared at him, her voice trembling with a mix of rage and fear. "You bastard! Let me go. You have no idea who my brother is. If he finds out, he'll break every bone in your body!"
The stout one laughed, revealing his teeth as he gripped her hair tightly. "You think you're going home to tell him?"
The tall leader mocked her, imitating her voice, "Oh, be gentle with her, boys. She's sensitive. If her brother finds out, he'll kill us all!"
The three of them burst into laughter. Suddenly, the tall leader and the stout one grabbed her arms, pinning her down. They looked at the thin, nervous boy. "Stop shaking and pull up her skirt."
"Leave me alone! You monsters! I'll kill you!" the girl screamed, struggling desperately to break free.
The thin boy hesitated, but under the pressure of his friends, he started to step forward.
Suddenly, a low, deep, and powerful voice echoed through the alley.
"What's going on here?"
Ren stood there, his gaze sharp and piercing as he scanned their college uniforms. He recognized them instantly.
'Imposing High School...' Ren thought to himself. It was a prestigious, expensive school where only the children of the wealthy could afford to study.
"Who the hell is this four-eyed loser?" the tall leader barked, looking at the stout one. "I thought you said nobody came through here!"
The stout boy let go of the girl and marched toward Ren. "What's it to you? Mind your own business and get lost before I make you."
The girl looked at Ren, her face pale as she shouted, "They're harassing me! Please, help me!"
Ren looked at the three of them and spoke calmly, "Don't you think this is unfair? There are three of you and only one of her. Are you all really that weak?"
The stout boy glanced back at the leader and spat on the ground. "This motherf***er... coming into our territory and preaching justice?"
Without warning, the stout boy lunged, swinging a heavy, wild punch straight at Ren's face.
Ren didn't flinch.
His body moved like a shadow—smooth, precise, almost lazy. The fist cut through empty air as Ren tilted his head just enough. In the same breath, his right hand snapped forward like a whip. His fist connected with the stout boy's nose in a sickening CRACK that echoed off the walls.
Blood exploded outward in a red spray, splattering the ground. The stout boy staggered back with a choked scream, hands flying to his ruined face, eyes wide with shock and pain.
"You bastard!" the tall leader roared.
He shoved the girl roughly toward the thin boy and charged at Ren, throwing a tight boxing jab followed by a heavy hook. The punches were fast, trained, aimed to break.
Ren slipped them all.
He swayed like water—left, right, duck. Each miss left the tall boy more frustrated, more open. Ren waited one heartbeat too long, then exploded forward. His left hand blocked the next jab, right fist rocketing upward in a brutal uppercut.
The impact was thunderous—THUD—right under the chin.
The tall leader's head snapped back violently, teeth clacking together, eyes rolling up as his body went limp mid-step. He collapsed backward like a felled tree, hitting the pavement with a dull thump, unconscious before he even landed.
The girl stared, frozen, mouth open.
She couldn't believe it. This quiet, bespectacled boy had just dismantled two grown bullies in seconds—like they were nothing.
The thin boy stood petrified, hands shaking so badly he could barely hold the girl. The stout boy, still bleeding from his shattered nose, stumbled back. "We're sorry! Please... it won't happen again!" he stammered, voice high with terror.
Ren didn't even glance at them.
He walked straight toward the girl, his shadow falling over her as she leaned against the wall. He looked down at her, his eyes cold and void of any comfort.
"You shouldn't have been so weak."
