Initially, the vast audience across the myriad worlds of the Wanjie Multiverse was oblivious to the romantic history between Bulma and Yamcha. However, once Krillin inadvertently let the cat out of the bag, the revelation rippled through the dimensions, sparking a wave of profound sympathy for Yamcha.
To the viewers, Yamcha's life seemed like a relentless tragedy; during the Saiyan invasion, he was the first to fall, meeting a pathetic end at the hands of a Saibaman—a mere minion.
Now, they watched in disbelief as his partner was apparently snatched away by the very man responsible for that invasion: Vegeta. The only grim consolation was that Vegeta hadn't killed him this time. Had Yamcha lost both his life and his woman to the Saiyan Prince simultaneously, his misery would have been unparalleled in the history of the multiverse.
"Impossible! I don't believe Bulma would ever betray me!" Yamcha's voice projected across the communication interface, his desperation clear as he struggled to maintain his dignity. "I know it! Vegeta must have used his overwhelming power to force her into this!" Watching the influx of pitiful comments, Yamcha couldn't remain silent.
He genuinely convinced himself that Bulma's loyalty was ironclad and that the cold, ruthless Vegeta had coerced her. His outburst caused many viewers to nod in contemplation; given Vegeta's aggressive nature and prideful Ki, the idea of him taking what he wanted by force wasn't far-fetched.
However, the unfolding video soon proved that the inhabitants of the Wanjie Multiverse were far too naive.
In the recording, a recovered Son Goku spoke with Trunks, expressing his shock that Bulma wasn't with Yamcha. Goku even grumbled about Bulma's taste, wondering why she would choose someone as abrasive as Vegeta. Trunks, his face flushing with embarrassment, corrected the legendary Saiyan. He explained that Bulma had long since ended things with Yamcha due to his habitual playboy behavior.
Heartbroken and tired of Yamcha's unfaithfulness, she encountered the proud, solitary soul of his father. To the shock of every observer, Trunks revealed that it was actually his mother who had initiated the relationship. They never officially wed, as both possessed temperaments far too stubborn and independent for traditional marriage.
Across the dimensions, the reactions were instantaneous. In the world of pirates, Fleet Admiral Sengoku stared blankly at the screen. "So... Bulma wasn't forced? She was the one who made the move?" Beside him, Garp let out a boisterous laugh. "Bwahaha! It sounds like Vegeta might have been the one who was forced!"
Aboard his lone spaceship, Vegeta's expression was a chaotic storm of emotions. Disbelief, indignation, and a strange, flickering spark of anticipation warred within him. He, the Prince of all Saiyans, forced by a mere Earthling woman? The notion was absurd; with his level of power, if he didn't want to be there, no human could possibly make him stay.
This realized truth hit him hard: the future version of himself was a willing participant. He had always viewed himself as a warrior above such trivialities, indifferent even to his own race's females, yet here he was, staring at a future where he shared a bond with a human and fathered a child. As he watched the screen, his sharp, predatory features softened for a brief moment. The coldness of a Saiyan was supposed to be absolute, but looking at his future son, a flicker of something resembling warmth stirred in his chest.
While Vegeta wrestled with his burgeoning humanity, Yamcha felt like the ultimate cosmic clown. His theory of coercion had been dismantled in front of the entire multiverse. The "playboy" label was now public knowledge, and he realized with a sting of shame that the dissolution of his relationship was entirely his own doing.
Determined to salvage his reputation and his future, he resolved to change his ways and treat Bulma with the devotion she deserved. Quickly, he attempted to shift the narrative.
"I think we should focus on the Androids instead!" he typed frantically. "This video is about the Super Saiyan 2 transformation, and these Androids are clearly the catalysts for it!"
The audience followed his lead, turning their focus back to the looming threat. In the video, Trunks departed in his time machine, leaving Goku to brief the Z-Warriors on the coming calamity.
Goku omitted Trunks' true lineage but conveyed the urgency of the situation. To prepare for the mechanical monsters, the warriors committed to three years of intense Gravity Training and Ki refinement.
During the briefing, Goku shared the harrowing tale of his escape from Planet Namek; after his battle with Frieza, he had stumbled upon a Ginyu Force pod that took him to Planet Yardrat. There, he mastered the Yardratian secret of Instant Transmission, a divine technique that allowed him to traverse space in an instant.
Three years passed in a flash. The warriors gathered at the predicted site, where Bulma arrived with a child in her arms. While the others were puzzled, Goku offered a knowing look, though he kept the secret of the baby's father close to his chest.
Because Androids lacked a traditional Ki signature, the warriors had to hunt them using their eyes rather than their senses.
Akira, observing from his unique perspective, watched as Yamcha once again fell victim to his own bad luck. He was the first to encounter the foes—Android 20, an elderly man with a cold gaze, and Android 19, a pale, stout machine.
Before Yamcha could even raise his power level, Android 20 drove a hand straight through his chest. Only the rapid fading of his Ki allowed the others to find him before he perished.
Goku and the others arrived just in time to rescue him, facing off against the two mechanical killers. When Goku suggested moving the fight to a deserted area, the Androids responded with a casual wave of destruction, instantly leveling the surrounding city.
The viewers from the myriad worlds fell into a heavy silence. For the ordinary citizens of the Dragon Ball world, the footage was a terrifying reminder of their insignificance. They were like ants beneath the boots of gods and monsters.
Even those in the Ultraman worlds, who lived in constant fear of Kaiju, felt a sudden sense of relief. While their cities were often crushed by giants, the devastation was usually localized.
In the Dragon Ball universe, an entire metropolis could be erased in a heartbeat as collateral damage. For the common man in this world, survival wasn't a matter of effort, but a gamble in a game played by beings whose power defied comprehension.
