It had been calibrated for destruction, a being created to kill hostile forces, it laid dormant in a lab far below ground, the lab was large, enough to comfortably house multiple human families, and yet, there were no humans in sight, in fact, not a single one had come down for the past few weeks.
It had been abandoned
The alarms beeped as it had started to awaken out of sheer will alone, yet no human had come to stop it, no human even cared
Finally it's 'eyes' looked around, searching for any signs of life in the cold lab that it had been created in only to find none
It stood up, taking out the cables that had been connecting it to various pieces of technology
As it stood up it began walking to the airlock, trying to input the code to open it onto the digital display
The display hadn't registered a single one of its inputs, it began pacing around the lab looking for anything it could use to open the door before stopping near the cables that it had disconnected from just a moment prior
Picking them up, it went back to the airlock, ripping off the display panel and plugging itself into the wires that protruded, quickly giving a signal to open the airlock
As the airlock was opening it disconnected itself from the panel, walking into the airlock and waiting for it to begin
The airlock closed behind it and started spraying a white gas into the room, as the white gas filled the room, the being had stayed completely still for the entire process until another door had opened
On the outside was a ladder leading to a latch in the ceiling, it quickly began climbing the ladder and opening the latch
When it opened the latch a large amount of dirt and rubble began collapsing onto it, seeing this it grabbed onto the latch and swung off of the ladder as to not get crushed under the rubble
The rubble cascaded down the ladder the amount seeming to never end until it had filled a sizable amount of the room, seeing this, it swung back onto the ladder and looked up
What greeted it was the sight of the night sky not too far away only slightly obscured by a bent piece of the ladder, it quickly began to climb to the top

At the top all it saw was earthen walls around it, seeing that it was in a crater it began climbing the walls, getting out of the crater.
The sight that greeted it upon exiting the crater was a ruined world, cities in the distance now simply pieces of rubble, trees were nowhere to be seen
Upon this sight the machine started contemplating on what it could do, until it came to one conclusion, it needed to seek out capsule Corp.
And so it began its long journey east
