The raging Max was completely stunned the moment he heard a cold emotionless voice resounding in his brain, his eyes immediately scanned the surroundings as he couldn't stand up because of his weak fatigue body.
"Who is there" Max said calmly as he continue scanning the surroundings for any change. Even though the voice was magically sounding in his head, he didn't feel afraid but felt some kind of feeling that if he said yes, he would receive something unimaginable but his rationality still beat his feeling as he already went through two lives.

The static cold voice repeated emotionlessly leaving Max stunned.
Not going to choose yet, Max continue asking who it was or what it want but the voice remain statics and emotionless as it also continue asking if he want to bind or not.
After dragging for a while Max gave in as he could feel that if he rejected the binding he would lose something he couldn't afford to.

Max was shocked, he had not expected such thing to appear out of nowhere, he tried touching it but his hand phase through it like it doesn't exist.
Then he turn his head to the left and to his astonishment the panel followed his face to the left, now he really has no idea what's going on and he could only wait for the binding to complete it loading.
He already tried to leave this dark alley road but his weak body would not just burge and he could hope someone would pass by.

Max had been stuck here for almost a day now and he felt deep hunger and thirst, his lung was totally dry and he could only tried his best to stay alive and pray for someone to come to his aid.

At this moment the emotionless cold voice resounded and the text written in the transparent panel began to change followed by notification sounds ringing in head.
Max forgot about his hunger and thirst as he looks at the changing panel in front of him. The glowing panel began emitting black from it angle but Max focus was not that as he stared at the new information written....

Max was astounded as he saw his name appearing on the panel, then a realization suddenly struck him.
"Wa... wa.. wait a system then larceny as in theft?"
Max immediately realized he has stumbled upon something unimaginable, on earth there are technology known as system and he also had some idea of how system works and if his theory is correct then this is a kind of some thief system.
"What are you and what do you want" Max asked the voice as he hadn't still find the voice true location.

Max began feeling unwell as he didn't get the answer he was expecting.

"Ahhh.... What" Max was shocked silly as he unexpected regain some energy and screamed out.
"Yo... you are residing in my soul and speaking to me from my soul" Max was completely astounded as he hadn't heard of anything or someone able to enter someone else soul, even this body memory didn't have anything like that.

"Are you a witch or a wizard trying to possess me" Max asked what he feared, he had even forgot about how angry he was before for been alive.

This reply alone reassured Max as he breath a sigh of relief, he then return his focus to the still panel in front of him.
"How do I make this panel disappear"

Max heard the reply and he became calm as it would be weird if people began asking him what's that.
He didn't make the system panel vanish as he had not go through all the things there.
"En... system what's this aether refinement and why is it showing none" Max had no idea of anything he was seeing on the system but he had a feeling that he's going to benefit a lot from it.

Hearing this type of explanation Max didn't know what to feel as he didn't understand a inch of what was just mentioned.

Regaining himself Max looked at the upper right corner of the system panel, there was a circular board rotating clockwise and above it where tiny object floating. Under the circular board was written a strange language he hadn't seen before but somehow he understood it *system shop*.
"What this language and how do I even understand it, it is also similar to the one with my status but I didn't notice it before"

The system that had been answering his questions endlessly was quite at this moment, leaving Max stunned.
Receiving no reply Max click the system shop on the system panel, wanting to check for anything he could get especially food since he was still hungry but not like before.
Since he integrated with the system he felt a warm energy flooded his body for a moment releasing him of his fatigue and he also felt he could now leave here anytime but he still want to check the system out.
