Chapter 93 - chapter 95

After the incident with the representative, Jay started feeling more secure.

She began acting more like herself—both at home and in the office.

At home, she was playful and carefree.

She would tease Keifer, pull him into cuddles, and even act a little childish sometimes, just because she felt safe with him.

And in the office, she started becoming more confident too.

She no longer felt the need to hide her feelings.

She no longer felt afraid.

She started calling him hubby instead of Keifer, and it felt natural now.

Keifer, who had always been calm and composed, started calling her wife more often.

The first time he heard her call him "hubby," he looked surprised.

Then he smiled.

"Good," he said softly. "You can call me that."

Jay blushed and smiled. "Okay, hubby."

Keifer's eyes softened. "Good."

Their relationship started becoming visible to everyone.

It wasn't just the kiss in the office anymore.

It was the way they looked at each other.

The way they held hands.

The way they spoke.

One day, Keifer called Jay to his cabin.

He had a serious expression, and the employees noticed.

He stood in front of everyone and said, "Jay will be working from my office."

Everyone froze.

They knew what that meant.

They knew it wasn't just work.

Keifer continued, "We need to work closely on the upcoming projects. So her desk will be shifted here."

The employees exchanged glances.

Some smiled, knowing exactly what was going on.

Some were surprised.

But everyone understood.

Jay walked into Keifer's cabin with a small smile.

Her desk was already placed beside his.

It looked like they were going to be working together.

But everyone knew the truth.

They needed to romance.

Jay sat down, and Keifer sat on his chair, his eyes watching her.

Jay leaned back in her chair and looked at him.

"Hubby," she said softly.

Keifer's gaze softened. "Yes, wife?"

Jay smiled, feeling playful. "You know what this means, right?"

Keifer's expression remained calm, but his eyes held a hidden smile. "Yes."

Jay leaned forward and kissed him softly.

Keifer kissed her back, his hands gently holding her face.

They kissed like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Their desks were close, but the rest of the office seemed far away.

They continued working, but their touches were frequent.

A hand on the waist.

A brush of the fingers.

A small kiss on the cheek.

The office began to feel like their private world.

Then, one afternoon, while they were kissing in Keifer's cabin, an employee walked in.

He didn't knock.

He just opened the door and entered, clearly not expecting anyone to be inside.

Jay and Keifer pulled apart quickly, their faces turning red.

The employee froze, realizing what he had walked in on.

"Oh—sorry," he stammered, his face turning bright red.

He turned around and hurried out of the cabin, closing the door behind him.

Jay looked at Keifer, her eyes wide.

Keifer let out a small sigh, but his expression remained calm.

Jay laughed softly, feeling a little embarrassed.

Keifer smiled slightly. "He's embarrassed."

Jay nodded, her cheeks still warm. "Yes."

Keifer leaned closer and kissed her again, softly, like to reassure her.

Jay smiled. "He probably won't forget this day."

Keifer's voice was calm. "Good."

Jay looked at him, playful. "Hubby, you're so mean."

Keifer's eyes softened. "I'm not mean. I'm just… protective."

Jay smiled. "I know."

Keifer kissed her forehead. "Now get back to work."

Jay nodded, still smiling.

She felt happy.

She felt safe.

She felt loved.

And she knew she could be herself around Keifer—childish, playful, and completely his.

Because he was her husband.

And she was his wife.

After Keifer shifted Jay's desk into his cabin, the office atmosphere changed completely.

It wasn't just work anymore. Everyone knew what was happening.

And they couldn't stop talking about it.

At first, the teasing was subtle—little comments here and there.

But as days passed, the employees became bolder.

One morning, Jay was walking toward Keifer's cabin with a stack of files when Riya, one of the employees, called out loudly.

"Hey! Wifey, bring the files to hubby!"

Jay froze for a moment, then turned around, her cheeks burning red.

Keifer looked up from his desk, his expression calm, but his eyes were amused.

Jay tried to act normal. "I'm not your wifey."

Riya laughed. "Yes, you are! You two are like a married couple in a movie."

Another employee, Sahil, chimed in. "They're always together now. It's so obvious."

Jay's face turned even redder. She glanced at Keifer, who was watching the whole scene with a small smile.

Keifer leaned back in his chair and said calmly, "Yes, they are married."

The entire office went quiet.

Jay looked at Keifer in surprise. "What?"

Keifer's voice remained calm. "Yes. We are married."

Jay's cheeks heated even more, but she couldn't deny it now.

Riya clapped her hands excitedly. "See! I told you!"

Sahil grinned. "So does that mean you're taking leaves now? Like honeymoon leaves?"

Jay's eyes widened. "No!"

Keifer's gaze turned sharp. "No one is taking honeymoon leaves."

Riya laughed. "Okay, okay. But you can't deny it. You're clearly in love."

Jay looked down, her voice soft. "Yes."

Keifer leaned forward and placed his hand on Jay's waist, gently pulling her closer. "And I'm proud of it."

Jay's heart fluttered.

The employees whispered and giggled, but the teasing didn't stop.

Every time Jay walked by Keifer's cabin, someone would say:

"Wifey!"

"Hubby!"

"Power couple!"

Jay tried to ignore it, but sometimes she couldn't help laughing.

She started to act more playful too, just to tease them back.

One day, while Jay was filing documents, Riya leaned in and whispered, "You know, you should bring him tea. He looks tired."

Jay looked up. "What?"

Riya winked. "I'm just saying. Wifey duties."

Jay blushed, but she smiled. "I will."

Keifer, who was listening, looked up and said calmly, "Yes, she will."

Jay looked at him, her eyes shining. "Don't do that."

Keifer's expression remained calm. "Do what?"

Jay pointed at him. "Make me sound like a servant."

Keifer smiled softly. "You're not a servant. You're my wife."

Jay's heart melted.

She smiled and leaned closer to him. "And you're my husband."

Keifer's voice softened. "Good."

The employees watched them, smiling.

They could see the love between them now, and even though they teased, they were happy for Jay.

They had seen how Keifer had protected her, how he had claimed her, and how he made her feel safe.

And they couldn't deny it anymore:

Jay was Keifer's wife.

Keifer was Jay's husband.

And their love was real.

The office had become a different place after Keifer and Jay made their relationship obvious.

Everyone still teased them, but now it was more playful. People smiled when they saw them together, and the office felt warmer.

But business never stopped.

A new challenge arrived in the form of a major client.

The company had been trying to land a huge deal for months, and now the client was finally ready to meet.

Keifer called a meeting in the conference room and everyone attended.

Jay sat beside him, her notebook open and ready.

Keifer spoke calmly, "This client is important. If we secure this deal, it will change the company's future."

Everyone nodded.

Then the client's representative arrived.

He was confident, sharp, and had a reputation for being difficult.

He sat down and looked around the room.

His eyes stopped at Jay.

He smiled slightly. "So, you're the assistant."

Jay nodded politely. "Yes, sir."

The meeting began.

The client asked tough questions and challenged the team.

Jay felt the tension in the room, but she stayed calm.

She took notes and helped Keifer with the schedule.

Keifer answered the questions smoothly, showing his authority and confidence.

The client seemed impressed, but still wasn't fully convinced.

Then, at a crucial moment, the client turned to Jay and asked, "What do you think?"

Jay's heart skipped a beat.

She looked at Keifer.

Keifer nodded subtly, giving her the confidence she needed.

Jay spoke clearly and confidently, "I believe this partnership will benefit both companies. We have the resources and the commitment to deliver what you need."

The client looked at her for a moment, then nodded slowly.

"Interesting," he said. "You have a sharp mind."

Jay smiled politely. "Thank you."

The client turned to Keifer. "I'm impressed."

Keifer's expression remained calm. "Good."

The meeting ended with the client agreeing to the deal.

The office erupted in celebration.

Employees clapped and congratulated Jay.

Keifer looked at her with pride.

Jay felt her heart swell.

She had proven herself.

She had shown everyone that she wasn't just a "wife" or a "assistant."

She was capable.

She was strong.

That evening, the office threw a party.

Everyone gathered in the conference room, with snacks, music, and decorations.

It was a small celebration, but it felt like a big moment.

Jay stood beside Keifer, holding a glass of juice.

Riya came up to her and smiled. "You were amazing today."

Jay blushed. "Thank you."

Sahil added, "Yeah, you handled that like a boss."

Jay laughed softly. "I had a great teacher."

Keifer's gaze softened. "You did great."

Jay looked at him, her eyes shining. "Thank you, hubby."

Keifer smiled. "You're welcome, wife."

The employees cheered, and someone shouted, "Power couple!"

Jay laughed, feeling the warmth in her chest.

The party continued, and the atmosphere became more playful.

At one point, Keifer stood up and raised his glass.

"Thank you everyone for your hard work," he said. "We achieved this because of all of you."

Everyone cheered.

Then Keifer looked at Jay and said, "And thank you, my wife, for being my support."

Jay's cheeks turned red.

The employees smiled and teased her again.

Riya shouted, "Aww! Hubby said it!"

Sahil laughed, "Look at her blushing!"

Jay looked at Keifer, her eyes shining. "Stop it."

Keifer leaned closer and whispered, "You love it."

Jay smiled. "Maybe."

Keifer pulled her into a gentle hug, and the room went quiet for a moment.

Then everyone clapped again, cheering for them.

Jay felt a sense of belonging.

She felt like she was part of something bigger.

She felt loved.

And she knew that with Keifer by her side, she could face any challenge.

few days after the office party, Keifer called Jay into his cabin.

Jay walked in, curious.

Keifer was sitting behind his desk, his expression calm and serious.

He looked up at her and said, "We are taking leave."

Jay blinked. "Leave? For what?"

Keifer's eyes softened. "For our honeymoon."

Jay's heart skipped a beat.

She couldn't help smiling. "We're going on honeymoon?"

Keifer nodded. "Yes."

Jay felt her cheeks flush. "But we didn't plan anything."

Keifer's voice was calm. "I planned."

Jay's eyes widened. "You did?"

Keifer nodded. "Yes."

Jay's heart fluttered. "Where are we going?"

Keifer smiled faintly. "Somewhere you will love."

Jay felt a wave of excitement. "Really?"

Keifer's expression remained calm, but his eyes were warm. "Yes."

Jay couldn't stop smiling. "Thank you, hubby."

Keifer's gaze softened. "You're welcome, wife."

Jay felt her heart swell. "How long are we going for?"

Keifer paused for a moment. "Two weeks."

Jay's eyes widened. "Two weeks? That's so long!"

Keifer nodded. "Yes. We need time."

Jay felt her eyes shine. "I'm so happy."

Keifer stood up and walked toward her. He took her hand gently and placed a small folder in her palm.

"What's this?" Jay asked.

Keifer smiled. "Your leave papers."

Jay looked at them and felt her heart skip a beat. She had never taken leave like this before.

Keifer's voice was calm. "Sign them."

Jay nodded, still smiling. She signed the papers and handed them back to him.

Keifer looked at her. "Now, go pack."

Jay laughed. "I'm going to need help."

Keifer smiled. "I will help."

Jay felt her heart flutter. "When do we leave?"

Keifer's expression remained calm. "Tomorrow."

Jay's eyes widened. "Tomorrow?"

Keifer nodded. "Yes."

Jay felt a sudden rush of excitement and nervousness. "I'm not ready."

Keifer's voice softened. "You will be."

Jay smiled. "Okay."

Keifer leaned closer and kissed her gently. "You're going to be okay. I'm with you."

Jay's heart warmed. "I know."

Keifer pulled back and looked at her with a serious expression. "Don't worry about the office. Everything is under control."

Jay nodded. "Okay."

Keifer's voice softened. "Now go home. Pack. And sleep."

Jay smiled. "Yes, hubby."

Keifer's gaze softened. "Good."

The next day, the office was buzzing with excitement.

Everyone knew they were leaving for their honeymoon.

Riya approached Jay and whispered, "Don't forget to bring him back in one piece!"

Jay laughed. "I won't."

Sahil teased, "Don't forget to send us pictures!"

Jay blushed. "I will."

Keifer stood near Jay's desk, watching her with a calm expression.

He leaned in and whispered, "Don't let them tease you."

Jay smiled. "I can handle it."

Keifer's eyes softened. "I know."

Jay looked at him. "I'm going to miss you."

Keifer's expression remained calm. "I'll miss you too."

Jay smiled. "But we'll be together."

Keifer nodded. "Yes."

Jay felt her heart swell. She looked around the office one last time, feeling a sense of belonging.

Then she walked out with Keifer, hand in hand.

They got into the car and drove away.

As the office building disappeared behind them, Jay looked at Keifer and smiled.

"This is our honeymoon," she whispered.

Keifer smiled softly. "Yes."

Jay leaned her head on his shoulder.

Keifer's hand held hers tightly.

They drove into the sunset, leaving behind the office and the world.

And for the first time in her life, Jay felt completely free.

Because she was with the man she loved.

And they were finally alone.

Keifer had planned everything.

Jay didn't know where they were going, but she trusted him completely.

They drove for a while, and eventually reached a beautiful resort by the sea.

The place was calm and peaceful—just what Jay needed.

The breeze was gentle, the water was clear, and the sound of waves felt like music.

Jay looked around in awe. "This is… beautiful."

Keifer smiled softly. "I knew you would like it."

Jay turned to him. "How did you plan all this?"

Keifer's expression remained calm. "I have my ways."

Jay smiled. "Thank you."

Keifer held her hand and led her to their room.

The room was luxurious but simple, with a huge bed, soft lights, and a balcony overlooking the sea.

Jay couldn't stop smiling. She felt like she was in a dream.

Keifer pulled her closer and kissed her gently.

Jay closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of his love.

They spent the day exploring the resort, walking along the beach, and enjoying the quiet.

At night, they sat on the balcony, watching the stars.

Jay leaned against Keifer's shoulder, feeling safe.

Keifer's voice was soft. "Are you happy?"

Jay smiled. "Yes."

Keifer looked at her. "Good."

Jay turned to him. "Hubby… I never thought I'd feel this happy."

Keifer's gaze softened. "You deserve happiness."

Jay looked down. "I'm scared."

Keifer's hand brushed her cheek. "Of what?"

Jay's voice was small. "Of losing you."

Keifer's expression softened. "You won't."

Jay looked up. "How can you be so sure?"

Keifer's voice was calm. "Because I chose you."

Jay's heart fluttered. "You chose me?"

Keifer nodded. "Yes."

Jay's eyes filled. "Thank you."

Keifer leaned in and kissed her forehead. "You're welcome."

They stayed on the balcony for a while, holding each other.

Then Keifer stood up and offered his hand.

"Come," he said softly.

Jay took his hand. "Where?"

Keifer smiled. "To the beach."

They walked down to the beach, barefoot, feeling the sand under their feet.

The moonlight reflected on the water, making it look like a silver path.

Keifer stopped and pulled Jay close.

He looked into her eyes. "You're beautiful."

Jay blushed. "Stop."

Keifer smiled. "No."

Jay laughed softly.

Keifer leaned in and kissed her, slow and tender.

Jay felt her heart race.

She wrapped her arms around him, feeling his warmth.

They stood there, kissing, while the waves crashed gently in the background.

Jay felt like she was floating.

Keifer pulled back slightly. "I love you."

Jay's voice was small. "I love you too."

Keifer smiled. "Good."

They spent the rest of the night talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company.

Jay felt like she had finally found her place.

She was with the man she loved, in a beautiful place, and she felt safe.

And she knew that their honeymoon was only the beginning of a new life together.
