"Just getting you clean."
"Then you can sleep properly."
"Mm... no..." Dakota's voice was barely coherent, thick with exhaustion and unconsciousness that still held her mostly captive.
"Leave me... 'lone..."
The words were slurred, sleep-heavy, more automatic protest than genuine resistance.
Her eyes didn't even open, her body remaining limp and pliant in his hold.
"Not a chance," Kade replied quietly, reaching for the soap and a soft cloth.
He worked with efficient care, washing away the evidence of their claiming from her skin.
The water around her gradually clouded as he cleaned her, soap and traces of their coupling mixing into the bathwater that would need to be drained and replaced before he was done.
Dakota mumbled protest throughout, nonsensical words that suggested her unconscious mind was aware of being handled but couldn't quite wake enough to do anything about it.
"Stop... don't... wanna sleep..."
