"I'm sorry, Sir. but you can't change my mind" I sighed heavily while signing my resignation letter. I spent two years in this corporation, I think that's already enough because I know I deserve better, and this place is definitely not for me.
"Okay, Celine. I respect your decision. Thanks for the two years of working with us" my boss said. Sir Liam is a kind man but he has short-tempered and a short patience, making me to work with a lot of stress and pressure.
I graduated in college with flying colors, I even competed internationally, so I know, somehow, there's a good opportunity for me.
After saying goodbye to my former boss and officemates, I finally go home. Finally, I am now free from that disaster.
"What are you thinking, Celine!" my mom shouted at me after I tell her that I resigned to my work "I though you will lift me out of this poverty, and now you are an unemployed! I gave you everything you need. All you have to do is to give me the life that I deserve as payback" she continue saying things that I often hear. It's not new to me anymore.
She's always pressuring me about giving her a good life, what she meant in good life is having a luxury lifestyle just like what she watched in a telenovela. Ever since I was a kid, my mom always remind me to study hard so soon I can give her a luxury life, my mother marked that in my mind that's why there's always a pressure in me. I love my mother, I don't want her to disowned me just because I cannot give her the life she wants.
The night before I sleep, I will write first in my journal and then check my email if there's an update in the jobs I sent application.
"So no, you're an unemployed woman?" Ava joked at me, She's my bestfriend since college. Ava is now working in a big company in this city.
"Yeah, broke season starts now" we laughed at each other. I almost dry my savings because of bills, what my mom wants, and then transpo and food for my walk-in job hunting.
"Ask Sam if their modeling agency is looking for a new model" Eva said to me
Sam is our a friend also, we are three in this circle. He is also a friend from college

We continue talking while drinking coffee, just like the usual she talk about her crushes, her work, and some random stuffs.
"OMG!" Ava shout, I almost spilled the coffee I am drinking now because of her
"Ava! I'm embarrass!" I disciplined her because the people in this café are now looking at us.
"There's no embarrassing in this, because girlll ahhh"

"Vicencio Corporation is now hiring for a new secretary!" she said with a wide smile

"what do you mean, what now?! the boss is so hot and handsome"
