Ewan nodded in agreement, happy to just be along for the walk. The two of them traversed a circuit, checking all eight of the traps Asher had set previously. The results were modest, only two of the devices had been triggered.
The catch consisted of two wild hares.
"They look incredibly well-fed." Ewan remarked, reaching out to poke the two rabbits dangling from Asher's hand. The creatures let out high-pitched squeals at the contact: "Look at that adipose tissue."
"That concludes the trap inspection. Let's return." Asher announced.
