Chapter 15 - CHAPTER 15, Clash of Kings and the Secret of the Guardians

The cave was no longer collapsing.

It was dying.

Massive slabs of stone cracked apart with deep thunderous sounds, falling like the remains of forgotten gods. Dust filled the air, glowing faintly each time crimson lightning flashed across the open sky above.

That sky—

It no longer felt distant.

It watched.

The Blood Realm itself had awakened, as if sensing that something far beyond a simple battle was unfolding.

The ground trembled constantly.

Every step felt unstable.

Every breath carried weight.

And at the center of that destruction—

Two figures stood.

Krrish.

And the Loyal King.

Neither moved back.

Neither lowered their gaze.

Their energies pressed against one another so violently that space between them seemed to distort, bending under invisible pressure.

For a single moment—

Silence fell.

No sound.

No movement.

Just raw tension.

Then—

The Loyal King stepped forward.

BOOOOOOM!

Energy erupted outward.

Krrish was thrown backward, sliding across shattered stone. Sparks flew beneath his feet as his body cut through debris like a blade.

Dust rose high.

When it settled—

Krrish stood again.

Calm.

Unshaken.

His breathing steady.

The Loyal King exhaled slowly.

Golden energy ignited around him, brighter than ever before — sharp, burning, predatory.

Behind him, a colossal phantom lion appeared, its mane moving like flames, its roar shaking the very bones of the realm.

"You are strong… human."

His voice echoed deeply.

"But strength alone…"

He smiled coldly.

"…does not create a king."

His aura expanded.

The pressure became unbearable.

"Let me show you the gap."

He vanished.

Not fast.

Not blurred.

Simply gone.

Even the air hesitated to follow him.

Krrish reacted instantly.

He moved.

The two collided mid-air.

BOOOOOOOOOM!

Shockwaves shattered what remained of the cave walls, sending debris flying like meteors. Outside, the Blood Forest bent violently as if the world itself was bowing.

The battle turned wild.

Fists collided like thunder.

Energy clashed like storms.

Every strike created ripples that spread across the ground.

The Loyal King moved like pure light — impossible to track, striking from impossible angles.

But Krrish adapted.

Each movement grew sharper.

His body no longer reacted.

It predicted.

At the edge of the battlefield, the Black Dragon watched in silence.

His claws dug into the stone.

Memories surfaced.

Ancient memories.

From a time before realms existed.

Before gods ruled.

Before demons spread chaos.

They were forged.

When the universe first trembled under imbalance, ancient forces created the Keys — sources tied to the foundations of existence itself.

But power always attracts greed.

So guardians were created.

Four beings.

Each stronger than the last.

Each embodying a different Path.

Each bound by an absolute rule:

Whoever defeats a Guardian… inherits its Path.

The Black Dragon lowered his head.

"We were never rulers…"

he whispered quietly.

"We were trials."

They were living pathways of power.

Each Path maintained a part of reality.

If one Path shattered—

Balance would collapse.

If all Paths united—

Creation itself could change.

Purity.

Ascension.

Spiritual authority.

Its guardian—

The Phoenix.

A name so ancient that even silence respected it.

Wisdom.

Life.

Endurance.

Its guardian—

The Male Nine-Tailed Fox.

A being feared not for brute force… but for mind and patience.

Survival.

Dominance.

The refusal to kneel.

This realm belonged to it.

Its guardians—

The Loyal King.

And the Black Dragon.

Fear crossed his eyes.

"That Path… should never awaken."

"It exists beyond balance."

His fist crashed into Krrish's chest.

The earth shattered.

Krrish slid back, blood falling from his lips.

The King laughed.

"Do you feel it now?"

"Why even gods feared us?"

Krrish wiped the blood calmly.

A faint smile appeared.

"You talk too much."

The Blood Mark ignited.

Crimson energy spiraled around him like living flame.

The realm reacted.

The air thickened.

Krrish moved.

Faster.

Sharper.

Their fists collided again—

This time the Loyal King was forced backward.

His eyes widened.

Then—

He laughed.

Wildly.

Genuinely.

"YES!"

"Finally!"

The clash intensified.

Each collision shook the realm.

Each strike split the air.

Lightning followed their movements.

The Black Dragon spoke again.

"Above me stands the Loyal King…"

"And above him… two supreme guardians."

The temperature dropped.

A shadow formed behind him.

A massive fox.

Nine tails drifting like moonlight.

Eyes calm.

Ancient.

Deadly.

"The Second Guardian…"

"The Male Nine-Tailed Fox."

The atmosphere shifted instantly.

His voice lowered even further.

"And above all…"

Fear entered his tone.

"The First Guardian…"

He whispered only one name.

"Phoenix."

Silence fell.

Even the Loyal King slowed.

That name carried weight older than worlds.

Golden energy exploded outward like a sun collapsing.

"ENOUGH!"

His full power erupted.

The phantom lion behind him became colossal, jaws wide enough to consume the sky.

The attack rushed toward Krrish like a falling mountain.

Krrish raised his hand.

Dark crimson energy gathered.

The Blood Mark burned brighter than ever.

The Blood Realm trembled violently.

Their attacks collided—

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A pillar of energy pierced the heavens.

The Blood Forest split apart.

Mountains cracked.

The sky shook.

When the light faded—

Both stood breathing heavily.

The Loyal King's expression had changed.

No arrogance.

No mockery.

Only respect.

"You truly are… different."

Krrish stepped forward.

His aura had transformed.

Darker.

Calmer.

Something ancient stirred within it.

"Is the test over?"

The Loyal King smiled slowly.

He lowered his stance.

Fire burned in his eyes.

"No."

"Now…"

His aura erupted again.

"…the real fight begins."

Within the Earth Path—

Nine tails moved slowly.

Within the Heaven Path—

A single flame awakened.

Watching.

Waiting.

And deep within the unseen Void—

Something smiled.
