I woke up feeling good and refreshed, stepped out of the room and then I bumped into someone.
Xavier. "Sorry, I was just coming to check if you were awake."
"Ooh it's fine, Good morning."
Xavier. "Good morning angel."
I stood there shocked, did he just call me angel?, and why does he look different today.
He's handsome, that doesn't even do justice to him. He is a celestial being, ethereal beauty radiates from his every dimension. His eyes like golden sun shines bright and bold. I have never seen a man as beautiful as him.
Xavier. "What?"
"Are you human?" Shit did I just say that, ughhhhh.... I'm so stupid.
Xavier chuckles. "Ummm why do you ask?"
"Umm nothing it was a mistake."
Xavier's POV:
I don't know why I'm helping her, I've never done this to anyone but something about her draws me to her.
"What would you like for breakfast?"
Vera. "Ooh I was thinking you were gonna kick me out."
"You can leave after breakfast."
She was stunned, I'm not surprised she didn't expect me to be that blunt.
Vera. "Ooh okay, I'll just eat pancakes."
"Okay, let's go."
I enter the kitchen and begin to bring the ingredients for pancake.
Vera. "What are you doing?"
"Umm I want to make pancakes."
Vera. "No way, you know how to cook?"
"Well making pancakes is not really cooking but I can cook."
Vera laughs. "Wow."
"What?, am I the first man that you know can cook?"
Vera. "No, it's just that I didn't think people like you would know how to cook."
"Well I do, so sit and relax while I make the best pancakes you've ever had."
I begin mixing the ingredients and I start making pancakes, at the corner of my eye I caught Vera staring at me. Ooh God she's so beautiful and sexy.
"Like what you see?"
Vera. "Huh?"
"You've been staring at me for a while now."
Vera. "I wasn't, it was probably your imagination."
"Yeah right, well your pancakes are ready."
Vera. "Well they don't look bad."
"Just try them."
When she took her first bite her reaction was priceless, she was like a child who have just been given ice cream for the first time.
Vera. "Wow, this is really nice."
"I told you so."
We were talking and few minutes later the doorbell rang.
Vera. "Expecting any visitor?"
"No, but I have to go check it."
I went to open the door and saw my ex Stella.
"What do you want?"
Stella. "I want you baby."
"Get out!!!"
Stella. "So you're not gonna let me come in?"
"No."
But she doesn't listen and she pushed pass me and entered the house. Stella has always been the possessive girlfriend, she only liked me for my money and always cheated on me but never allowed me to talk to any girl.
Stella. "Hmmm I smell pancakes, I want."
She rushes to the kitchen and I follow behind. Stella stood there looking straight into Vera.
Stella. "Who is this?"
"None of your business."
Stella. "So because of a little misunderstanding between us you started sleeping with another person."
Vera's POV:
I was enjoying the pancakes when a girl walked into the kitchen. She just said they had a little misunderstanding, that means she's his girlfriend.
"Ummm, we didn't sleep together."
Stella. "Liar, you whore. You have no shame sleeping with other people's men."
Okay I was trying to be nice but who the f**k is this girl, just came in here and accused me of sleeping with her man. I wouldn't blame her though I wonder how I would react if I see another girl in my man's house so early in the morning.
"He just helped me, nothing happened."
Stella. "Shut up b***h, I know your type. You act all helpless and then you steal the man."
"It's fine, I'll take my leave now."
Xavier. "Don't answer her, you can stay."
Stella. "If you stay here one minute longer I would kill you."
I carried my things and I left the house as fast as possible. Guess I'm back on the streets. I wish Xavier had told me he had a girlfriend to avoid problems like this, but of course how could someone so hot not have a girlfriend.
Xavier's POV:
"What's your problem, we have broken up so I can be with anyone I want."
Stella. "So you admit that you slept with her right?...Just two days that we broke up and you're already sleeping with women."
"It's none of your business."
Stella. "But I still love you, you're all I've been thinking about. I want us to get back together that's why I came here."
"Ooh please, you love me but you cheated on me not once, not twice but thrice with the same guy. Why aren't you with him huh?....he doesn't have money like me right."
Stella. "No baby it was a mistake, I promise it would never happen."
"Well I don't care I'm not getting back with you and stop telling people were still together."
Stella. "So you don't miss me?"
"No."
Stella. "Not even this ass?" She turns so I could have a good look at her behind.
"What do you want from me?"
Stella. "I want you baby."
"Leave I have to prepare for work."
Stella. "Don't you want a little treat before going to work?"
"No, leave!!!"
Stella. "Well okay see you at the office."
I forgot to mention that Stella works with me, my father likes her and wants her to work with us in the company so I have to see her everyday at work. I better go get ready for work, I have a lot to do today.
