Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Might of Dragonfire

The maidservants watching the two dragons fight were surprised to find that Drogon, who usually just ate his roasted meat, actually joined in the scramble. He clawed Viserion, who had meat in his mouth, sending Viserion sprawling on the ground with his claws spread, the meat shaking loose from his mouth.

Rhaegal, the Green Dragon, who had failed to snatch meat earlier, saw Drogon and Viserion fighting. He snatched the meat from the ground with his mouth and was about to swallow it. Just as he lifted his head to gulp, he also took a claw to the chest from Drogon, losing the meat again.

The two dragons were a bit dazed from being kicked. After realizing what happened while sitting on the ground, they both lunged at Drogon, who had kicked them without provocation, biting, scratching with claws, and hooking with wings.

Drogon was also trying a one-against-two fight for the first time, and he was immediately flustered, unable to defend himself fully, and was bitten, baring his teeth.

Fortunately, relying on his strong defense, he withstood the attacks of the two dragons and countered at the opportune moments.

Seeing Drogon actively provoking the two dragons, and the three dragons tangled in a brawl, the two maidservants looked at each other, unsure whether they should break up the fight. They had never seen such a chaotic scene before, and the three dragons were fighting exceptionally fiercely, all injured, with torn wings and several scales missing.

Thankfully, they hadn't breathed fire, or such a melee would surely have set the house ablaze.

Just as they hesitated whether to intervene, Drogon broke free from the two dragons' entanglement and flew into the sky. He could now fly briefly at low altitudes, but as soon as he flew a person's height, Rhaegal pounced on him, entangling him twice, and they both fell to the ground.

He hadn't realized this little female dragon was quite fierce, Drogon praised in his heart. He flew into the sky not to escape, but to train his aerial combat ability and stimulate his flexibility.

As soon as Drogon fell, Viserion pounced on him, continuing to bite each other.

He couldn't beat Drogon alone before, but today, with two dragons fighting one, he absolutely had to vent his anger.

Drogon had noticed two days ago when fighting them for meat that not only was he larger than them, but his teeth and claws were also sharper, and the defense of his skin and scales was higher. Although he had been bitten and scratched countless times, his injuries were not severe.

The two dragons looked scarred and battered, but Drogon had measured his attacks and hadn't caused any serious bone or muscle damage, which was why the two dragons could continue fighting for so long.

While they could continue fighting, the two maidservants couldn't bear to watch. Khal Drogo valued her dragons so much; if any of them were too severely injured, Khal Drogo's mercy wouldn't spare them.

The two exchanged glances, seeing the worry in each other's eyes, picked up nearby wooden sticks, and inserted them between the three dragons to break up the fight.

But the two dragons were in a frenzy and couldn't be separated easily. Viserion almost bit Jeyne, scaring her so much that she dropped her wooden stick on the ground.

Though small, the little dragon was still a dragon, already showing its fierce side.

Seeing Jeyne almost bitten, Drogon let out a low growl, implying he shouldn't bite Jeyne. Although the three dragons didn't speak true Dragon Tongue, simple meanings could be conveyed through roars.

After warning Viserion, Drogon immediately bit his neck, his sharp teeth piercing into the flesh, making him dare not move. Almost simultaneously, his right wing hooked into Rhaegal's soft chin flesh, similarly immobilizing her.

The fierce fight suddenly came to a halt, and the two maidservants and the Dothraki who had rushed over at the sound watched in stunned silence.

Seeing that the two dragons dared not move, Drogon finally released his bite and wing, sitting on the ground, stretching his neck, and panting heavily; even he couldn't quite handle a two-on-one.

Seeing the three dragons completely stop fighting, the little maidservants quickly checked their injuries. Doreah, who was mainly responsible for Daenerys's daily life, also joined in to treat the dragons' wounds.

After checking, they were relieved to find that apart from a few more serious wounds, most were just superficial.

That night, a mentally exhausted Daenerys returned and immediately entered the room to discuss with Jorah.

During the day, she had sought out the nominal rulers of Qarth, the Princes, but none would lend her a ship. Zaro's intentions were clear; he wanted her.

Daenerys neither agreed nor refused, wanting to discuss with Jorah before making a decision.

"You cannot marry him!" Jorah strongly objected after hearing this.

"But we need an army, we need big ships..." Daenerys cried out helplessly.

"Though Zaro can give you these, but..."

[So noisy! Your Prince Charming hasn't appeared yet, why are you in such a hurry!]

Drogon, who was recovering from his injuries in his cage, was woken up and said impatiently in his heart.

Daenerys: "???"

Prince Charming? Does Drogon foresee who I will find in the future?

This made Daenerys think of that unspeakable dream, where she was intimate with a handsome young man, but she couldn't see his face clearly. Is he my Prince Charming? She yearned in her heart.

"Tomorrow I will go find other Magnates, I will not marry Zaro. You go to the docks to find a ship, we need to leave as soon as possible."

Although she wasn't in the mood to find her Prince Charming now, Drogon also seemed not to want her to marry Zaro, so she would do as Jorah suggested! Daenerys gave up the argument.

Jorah was still formulating his words, surprised that Daenerys would suddenly change her attitude. He left, full of questions.

The next day, Daenerys and Jorah continued to search for a ship. Drogon did not continue training the two dragons today; his injuries had mostly recovered after a night's deep sleep, but Rhaegal and Viserion's recovery was much slower than his, needing another day to rest.

The three dragons were basking in the sun in the courtyard, eating roasted meat, with sexy little maidservants attending to them, enjoying themselves immensely.

The Dothraki remaining in the courtyard, however, were very unaccustomed to life confined to the courtyard, and all looked listless.

"Thump, thump, thump... thump, thump... thump, thump, thump... thump, thump."

A sudden knocking sound echoed through the quiet courtyard. The two Dothraki warriors on guard immediately perked up and vigilantly asked, "Who's knocking?"

"Thump, thump, thump... thump, thump." The rhythmic knocking continued from outside the door, but there was no response. The other Dothraki also noticed the abnormality and watched the gate warily.

Drogon, who was basking in the sun, was also attracted by the knocking and stood up from the ground.

"It must be Khal Drogo returning!" The guard was about to ask again when the maidservant Doreah suddenly ran out of the room, speaking as she ran to open the door.

"Don't open it yet..." The guard hurriedly tried to stop her, but it was too late; Doreah had already pulled out the bolt.

"Hiss!"

As Doreah pulled out the bolt, Drogon let out a low growl at the other two dragons, then ran towards the gate, flapping his wings as he ran. By the time he reached the gate, he was already flying higher than the courtyard wall.

The gate opened, and a group of Qartheen men, holding spears and wielding greatswords, rushed in.

"Puff..." Drogon flapped his wings, spraying a scorching black and red Dragonfire that hit the three Qartheen men running at the very front.

"Ahhh..."

Screams of agony erupted from the three men. They never expected to be greeted by intense flames upon opening the door.

The Qartheen men behind them, unable to stop in time, also got splashed with Dragonfire. They hastily dropped their weapons and frantically tried to beat out the flames.

The three who were first hit by the Dragonfire could only tremble and wail in the flames. Those at the back of the group paused for a moment before hastily retreating.

But it was too late; the fierce flames struck again, covering four more people with Dragonfire.
