3rd POV

Penny and Luke stared back at their father, both of them sitting stiffly on the couch. At this point, Ted was clearly telling them yet another absurd story, but somehow, this one managed to outdo all the previous ones.

The image of their Aunt Robin, a drunk, emotional, and completely unhinged—was already hard enough to process.

But this?.....

"Aunt Robin… calling you daddy?" Luke finally said, his voice slow and disbelieving. His face was frozen in shock with his mouth open wide. Hearing that his aunt, a beautiful, gorgeous, confident, and ridiculously charming aunt, had called their father "daddy" was… disturbing. Deeply disturbing.

Beside him, Penny had already grabbed her phone. Her thumbs moved furiously across the screen as she typed, mumbling under her breath with quiet, fast, and increasingly panicked.

"…I don't believe it… I don't believe it… I don't believe it…"

{Why is that so shocking to you guys?} Ted said with a tired sigh, shaking his head. {You both called me daddy all the time until you turned ten.} He paused, then added casually, {Even Penny still calls me daddy sometimes…}

"Dad!!!" Penny snapped, whipping her head toward him. She glared with silent, murderous eyes, the kind that promised teenage emotional retaliation.

Luke, however, crossed his arms and nodded slowly, his expression oddly thoughtful. "Yeah… I think I understand now."

"…What exactly do you understand?!" Penny shot back, her face flushing red. She looked one second away from punching her younger brother.

Before she could do either, Ted's phone suddenly rang. The familiar ringtone cut through the room.

{Ohh! Speaking of the 2005 Goddess…} Ted said with a grin as he glanced at his phone.

He answered the call immediately. {Hello, gorgeous—} But the next second, Ted pulled the phone away from his ear, wincing.

{...What? What are you talking about, Robin?! Who told you that?!....}

He turned slightly, pacing as he tried to calm her down, before shooting a glance toward Penny, who was now smirking far too innocently. Ted narrowed his eyes at her, silently mouthing, 'You're in trouble'.

Then he focused back on the call. {Hey, hey, hey, I was just telling them the truth, Robin.}

He sighed dramatically. {It's my legacy!.... Come on, we had a really good time….. You know what I'm saying…}

At that moment, Luke looked at Ted and blinked, slowly and exaggeratedly.

Exactly like Barney used to, and it instantly ticked Ted off.

{Yeah… yeah, I'll see you later. I know. I know…} Ted muttered before hanging up.

The moment the call ended, he turned sharply toward Penny, pointing accusingly.

{You…...Traitor!!!}

Penny just snorted and crossed her arms, pouting like a teenager throwing a tantrum at her daddy. Somehow, it only made her look cuter.

{New rule!!} Ted announced firmly. {This conversation never leaves this room!!}

He then looked straight at Luke.

{Yeah. I'm looking at you, buddy.}

Luke raised two fingers to his forehead and gestured back at him.

'I see you,' he said solemnly, exactly like the Na'vi greeting from Avatar.

Of course he was mocking Ted. And of course, he liked that movie.

{Don't butter me with that holy-people gesture!} Ted scoffed. {Use the Force if you want to butter me!}

….But yeah, he likes that movie too. The apple never falls far from the tree.

Penny groaned and shook her head. "Dad, you're wasting time!"

She watched the two of them with thinly veiled embarrassment, fully aware that the geek DNA in their family was spiraling out of control again. She 'watched' that movie too, of course.

{Right. Right. Where were we?} Ted said, clearing his throat, then immediately remembered something. {Also, I'm still mad at you, Penny. Robin just yelled at me for telling the truth! She kept denying it, over and over with that high-pitched voice of hers.}

That made both kids freeze.

Because they knew.

Robin always used that high-pitched voice when she was lying.

And worse….she always slipped emotionally when she denied something she actually felt.

That realization hit them hard.

Penny texted Robin before to ask if it was true what her father told them about their story, but….even though, deep down, she already knew her father wasn't lying. Not to her. Not to Luke.

Now they knew it for sure.

Back then...Robin had really.....had a huge crush on their dad. It's not just the exaggerating story their father told them, it's the complete truth about it. Penny then looked at her phone and saw a message from Robin telling her that is not true with a triple exclamation mark.

Yup, loud and clear.

"I'm sorry, daddy…" Penny said softly, blinking her eyes and looking up at Ted with an exaggeratedly pitiful expression, silently begging for forgiveness.

Ted sighed deeply, {.....You should be thankful you're cute… or I'd cut your allowance this month….}

Just like that, he forgave her so fast and effortlessly.

Luke, meanwhile, leaned forward. "But if you guys were that drunk… how do you even know she was calling you daddy the whole time?" He asked about the loophole from his story.

Ted smiled faintly.

{Well… the story isn't over yet.}

That was all the warning they needed.

Penny and Luke leaned back into the sofa, bracing themselves.

Ted continued, his voice lowering slightly.

{After all the chaos that night… we ended up sleeping together….and Robin just got embarrassed and left the apartment quickly…}

3rd Pov

Morning arrived quietly.

Soft sunlight slipped through the thin curtains of Ted's small bedroom, painting the walls in a pale gold glow. The world outside had already woken up, but inside this room, everything still felt heavy, slow, and slightly unreal.

Robin was still panicking and of course, still hungover.

Marshall, Lily, and Barney were long gone, no peeking, no teasing fiasco this time. Whatever chaos had happened earlier had already burned itself out, leaving just the two of them behind… alone to deal with the aftermath.

A soft blanket still covered their naked bodies. Ted was lying back against the mattress, eyes half-open, trying to piece together fragments of the night before. Robin, on the other hand, was already sitting up.

And from where Ted lay, he had a full view of her back. A smooth and unguarded soft skin from her beautiful body.

The gentle curve of her spine, the slight glimpse of her hips beneath the blanket, it all made his head feel heavier than the hangover already did. His body, unfortunately, wasn't helping either. Morning wood, alcohol, and memory gaps were a dangerous combination.

"…You'll get sick, Robin," Ted said softly, reaching out. "Come here… lay down with me. Get some rest first."

Robin didn't move. Instead, she turned her head just enough to give him a sharp, silent glare. "Why are you so calm right now?!" she snapped. "Is this not freaking you out?!"

"No," Ted answered honestly.

That single word landed heavier than she expected. It's not her anger trigger again, but his calm and soft voice making her know that he wanted this. It's not a regretful morning for him like any other guy did with her.

He shifted slightly, meeting her eyes. "Even if I don't really remember last night," he continued calmly, "....you know I wanted this."

That was enough to shake her more but before she could argue again, Ted gently pulled her back down. She resisted for half a second, then gave in so fast, resting against him, her body curling instinctively closer. Completely harmless. Warm, almost… purring, like a cat draped over him.

"I… can't," Robin muttered, her voice weaker now. "I have to work…"

She tried to move away again, but Ted's hand found her hair, rubbing her head slowly and warmly. The simple gesture made her groan under her breath.

"You can go after you rest," he murmured, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. The warmth of it made her eyes close.

Robin was strong, always had been.

.....But she was still a woman.

And right now, Ted was treating her gently and carefully. Almost like something precious. And damn it… she really, really liked that.

Then, like an unwelcome guest, a fragment of memory slipped back into her mind.

Ted carrying her like a child through the bar... Her voice slurred, unfiltered, chanting 'daddy, daddy, daddy' all night long is making her feel worse!.

Her face burned and she sat up abruptly.

Ted blinked, confused but still smiling at her softly. Thankfully or maybe mercifully, there was no sign that he remembered 'that' part.

"Uh… I gotta go," Robin said quickly, scrambling to her feet.

She stumbled slightly.

The blanket slipped away slowly until everything became fully clear.

Of course Ted saw everything. No, he doesn't have that weird chuckle like a pervert!

Robin froze, cheeks burning red. But instead of panic… she felt something else. Ted wasn't looking away. His eyes followed her openly, shamelessly, like a hawk tracking its prey.

And to her surprise… she liked it.

The attention he gives.

The hunger makes her feel tingle.

The way it fed her ego.

She let it wrap her.

…..but then, she shook her head, forcing herself back into reality, and started putting her clothes on quickly, piece by piece.

Ted finally stood too.

Completely naked following her. No boxer at all, fully naked.

That earned him a look. From Robin.

"…Damn you…." Robin muttered under her breath. "....Six packs? Seriously?"

Her eyes drifted lower…..and her thoughts followed dangerously close behind.

She swallowed hard.

'I want that again!.'

No.

…..No, no, no!.

She shook her head repeatedly and slipped into her panties and bra as fast as she could. Ted just chuckled, amused and he stepped closer, pretending to help.

But instead of actually helping…

He wrapped his arms around her from behind.

Yes, that had been his intention all along. Can anybody sue him? No? Then shut up please. Why would a gorgeous woman not know that you want her so bad? Action speak louder!

"Ted…" Robin whispered. "I really need to go."

She could feel his warmth.

And something else with very unmistakable pressing against her. She's already struggling with choosing to stay or go right now, and Ted is not helping at all for making a good decision!

Good decision is leaving right?

Before Robin said something again, she felt Ted sighed, then kissed her cheek softly. "Alright…"

He let her go and sat back on the bed, watching her from behind.

Enjoying the view.

For free!.

Robin rolled her eyes…..but slowed down anyway, giving him what he wanted.

Of course he liked it.

…..And of course he couldn't touch it. Shame!.

She made sure he got a good look right up until the last piece of clothing was on. Then she turned around, giving him a teasing smile.

She didn't miss the way his body reacted.

"What do you think?" she asked.

"…I think my actions are more credible," Ted replied dryly, subtly shifting to make his point very clear. Giving her more view of his little brother, standing so proud in front of her right now.

She laughed, the last traces of embarrassment finally slipping away. Her shameful night for him was already slipping away from her mind.

….Did she like Ted?

Yes.

She could finally admit that now.

Her drunken actions had been an honest, brutally honest moment for her. And calling him 'that'… it wasn't just a mistake. It hit her heart harder than she expected knowing she was unconsciously calling him that again and again.

"Ted…" she started, finally wanting to admit that. This moment is right, she knows and admits it.

….But then a phone rang.

They both froze.

Ted glanced at the sound and sighed before he stood up to find his phone. "It's my phone…" He grabbed it, gently holding Robin back for a second.

"Ted Mosby," he answered. "Oh. hey, Claire. What's up?" He said with a little smile on his face.

The moment Robin heard another woman's name, her courage vanished.

The words she was about to say stayed locked in her throat.

She lowered her gaze. The smile on Ted's face told her everything she needed to know. She knows that she's being so childish right now and didn't let Ted explain anything right now, but….

"…Goodbye, Ted," she said quietly.

Ted turned just in time to see her slipping out the door.

"Hey, Robin!" he called, wanting to stop her but the reality hit him right now.

He was naked.

Marshall might've seen everything already, but anyone else?

Nope. Absolutely not.

All he could do was watch the door close.

Ted exhaled heavily.

Claire's voice echoed through the phone again.

"Yeah....okay, okay! God, you're vicious!" Ted groaned. "Alright, I'm sorry! I said I'm sorry!"

His tone dropped into something almost childish, like a boy being scolded by a teacher.

Or his parents.

He will meet Robin again, he knows that and he thinks that he's not gonna rush things first right now. He knows Robin likey like his body! Hehehe…

No!

No Pervert chuckle!
