Azrath Cain
The Demon King of the Abyss did not fall in battle.
He chose to die.
š„š
Azrath CaināSupreme Ruler of the
Infernal Realmsāstood upon a throne made of shattered gods. His black cloak burned in eternal flame, his crimson eyes calm as the universe trembled before him.
He had conquered Hell.
He had slain Heaven's champions.
He had ruled for ten thousand years.
Yet⦠he was tired.
"Tyranny leads only to stagnation," Azrath murmured š
"And Heaven⦠you never change."
Above him, the Heavenly Tribunal gatheredāradiant beings of higher law, their eyes cold and absolute āļøāØ
"Azrath Cain.
Your existence violates divine balance."
Azrath smiled.
"I know."
Instead of resisting, he raised one handāand destroyed his own throne š„š
Shock rippled through Heaven and Hell alike.
Before judgment could descend, Azrath tore his soul apart and cast it into reincarnation šš„
But Heaven interfered.
Golden chains wrapped around his fragmenting soul āØāļø
"You will be reborn," Heaven declared,
"as a mortal⦠weak⦠forgotten."
Azrath laughed one last time.
"Then I will conquer fate⦠again."
š§ļø Sixteen Years Later ā Mortal World š§ļø
Kael Ashwyn
Kael Ashwyn was born weak.
No talent.
No aura.
No blessing.
His body was fragile, his mana pool nearly nonexistent š
At the Celestial Trial Academy, that made him trash.
"Hey, cripple!" š¤£
"Why are you even alive?"
"Heaven must've made a mistake."
Kael stood silently as books were slapped from his hands šš„
Bruises covered his arms. His uniform was torn.
He did not fight back.
Not because he couldn't.
But because his body couldn't handle it yet.
Inside him slept countless powersā
Demonic dominion š„
Absolute destruction š
Soul command šļø
Reality fracture š
Powers that once ruled Hell.
But now?
He was a child's body.
Weak. Fragile. Mortal.
Kael lowered his head.
"Sorryā¦" he whispered.
The bullies laughed and walked away.
None of them knewā
They were kicking the former Demon King.
š The Heavenly Selection š
That night, Kael collapsed from pain š
His body burned as golden light poured into him āØš„
Heaven had chosen him.
"Mortal Kael Ashwyn,"
"You are selected as a Heavenly Vessel."
Divine runes carved themselves into his soul āļøš
Angels watched from above.
"This one is weak," one scoffed.
"He poses no threat."
They did not sense the abyss.
They did not recognize the soul.
They did not knowā
This "vessel" was once Azrath Cain.
Kael screamed as Heaven's power sealed his demonic origin even deeper šš„
A seal formed on his chest:
š A shattered crown wrapped in divine chains āØāļø
š¤ Kael's Promise š¤
Kael lay on the floor, shaking.
Tears fellānot from painā¦
ā¦but humiliation š
Bullied.
Mocked.
Chosen by Heaven like a tool.
His eyes slowly hardened.
"Very well," he whispered šš„
"I'll play your game."
Inside his soulā
Azrath Cain smiled.
š
"Let Heaven raise me."
"Let mortals despise me."
"When my seals breakā¦"
The air trembled.
"I will remind existence
who its king truly is." šš„
