Chapter 47 - Chapter 35; DESCENT !

The chaotic shouting of the boys and the tense, hushed whispers of the girls were cut short in an instant.

A needle-thin prick of brilliance pierced the absolute blackness at the far end of the void. It wasn't the warm, yellow glow of a lantern or the flickering orange of Ace's flames; it was a pure, piercing white light that seemed to slice through the suffocating gloom like a surgeon's blade.

Every single head on the deck turned toward the bow.

Luffy stopped shouting about meat, his straw hat tilting back as his eyes went wide. Bakugo's palms ceased their popping sparks, his aggressive stance shifting into one of pure focus. Kid, Law, and Zoro all moved to the railing, their hands tightening on their weapons as the white glow expanded, slowly washing over the dark crimson rock of the Red Line.

On the other side of the ship, the girls stood shoulder-to-shoulder. Nami shielded her eyes from the sudden glare, while Nico Robin and Hiyori shared a look of silent, shared realization. Boa Hancock stood tall, her eyes reflecting the growing light with a look of fierce, unyielding resolve. Shirahoshi gasped, her hands clasped to her chest as the light began to illuminate the mist around them.

"The end of the tunnel," Sabo whispered, his eyes fixed on the exit. "Whatever the Adventurer Academy missed in their reports, it's about to be laid bare."

Izuku Midoriya watched as the light grew, his heart hammering against his ribs. "It's not just a light... it's the transition. We're leaving the land of gods."

The ship picked up speed, the mechanical hum of the Bondola lifts reaching a crescendo. As they crossed the threshold, the oppressive weight of the void vanished, replaced by a blast of cold, high-altitude wind and a view that stole the breath from every student and pirate on board.

The New World

The light faded to reveal the vast, glittering expanse of the New World stretching out 10,000 meters below them. The clouds were a sea of white gold, and the horizon was jagged with the silhouettes of islands that defied the laws of nature.

"There it is," Garp rumbled, standing behind the boys with a rare, serious expression. "The final sea. Don't blink, kids. This is where the real history begins."

The mechanical locks of the Bondola lifts finally disengaged with a series of thunderous metallic clangs that echoed across the crimson face of the Red Line. For a heartbeat, the massive fleet hung suspended in the thin air, a collection of steel and wood silhouetted against the blinding light of the New World.

Then, gravity reclaimed them.

The descent was not a slow lower; it was a controlled, high-speed drop. The ships slid down the vertical rails of the Red Port, the wind howling through the rigging and snapping the sails like whip-cracks.

"HOLD ON TO SOMETHING!" Nami screamed, her orange hair whipping wildly around her face as she gripped the navigation wheel

On the boys' deck, the sudden shift in momentum sent everyone scrambling. Luffy let out a long, exhilarated "SHISHISHI!" as he hooked his rubbery arms around a mast. Bakugo planted his feet, his face twisted into a grin of pure adrenaline, while Yoarashi laughed at the top of his lungs, using his whirlwinds to keep himself from being pinned against the deck.

"This is it!" Ace yelled over the roar of the wind, his eyes fixed on the blue expanse rapidly rising to meet them. "The sea is coming up fast!"

Izuku Midoriya watched the altimeter on the ship's bridge, his face pale but his eyes burning with determination. Beside him, Todoroki used his ice to create frozen footholds for the other students who were struggling to stay upright. Zoro and Kid stood like iron statues, their bodies instinctively compensating for the terrifying speed of the drop.

Across the ship, the girls held their ground. Hiyori and Kiku stood back-to-back, their robes fluttering violently. Boa Hancock stood at the very edge of the bow, her eyes never leaving the water. Despite the chaos, she remained as still as a statue, her resolve as cold and hard as the stone they had just left behind.

Vivi and Shirahoshi huddled together, they are squeezing each other, her eyes shut as the spray of the ocean began to mist the air. Nico Robin watched the Red Line recede above them, her mind still lingering on the void they had escaped.

Then came the impact.

BOOM!

The ship hit the water of the New World with the force of a falling moon. A gargantuan wall of white spray exploded hundreds of feet into the air, drenching every inch of the deck. The ship groaned, plunging deep into the turquoise waves before its massive buoyancy forced it back to the surface.

As the white foam cleared and the ship leveled out, the turbulent, unpredictable currents of the New World took hold of their hull. The air here was different—heavier, charged with an electric tension that didn't exist in the four blues or even the first half of the Grand Line.

Garp walked to the edge of the deck, shaking the seawater off his cape like a giant dog. "Welcome to the end of the world, brats!" he roared, pointing his finger toward the horizon where a strange, purple lightning storm was already brewing. "Try not to get washed away in the first hour!"
