Chapter 14 - Chapter 2:CLASS A-3 !

Class 3-A: The Awakening of Will

The third-year classroom of UA sat in a tense, expectant silence after Momo, Iida, and Todoroki arrived. The air was thick with the weight of the upcoming expedition to the Blue Star—a realm where gravity is a crushing force and the monsters are living legends.

Then, the heavy sliding doors didn't just open; they hissed back with violent speed.

The Explosion of Pride

Katsuki Bakugo stepped into the room.

He stood at 6'2", his frame significantly broader and more muscular than it had been three years ago. His ash-blonde hair was longer and more jagged, framing a face that had lost its twitchy, explosive arrogance. In its place was a cold, lethal pride—the look of a man who had stared into the abyss of the world's "flow" and didn't blink. He was no longer the loud-mouthed kid who screamed at everyone; he was a polished warrior who knew exactly how much power he held in his scarred palms.

"What, y'all scared or something?" Bakugo's voice was deep, lacking the gravelly screech of his youth. "I can hear your hearts thumping from the hallway. Pathetic."

"Bakugo-kun! You are exactly on time, but your entrance was far too aggressive for a school setting!" Iida shouted, chopping his arms in the air. Despite his reprimand, even Iida looked impressed by Bakugo's presence.

Bakugo ignored him, walking to his desk with a heavy, rhythmic stride. Over the last year, his world had shifted. He had seen his childhood friend—the one he once deemed "worthless"—awaken the Will (Haki) before him. That realization had been a knife to his gut. It stripped away his ego and replaced it with a singular, obsessive focus: Resilience.

He had spent his 17th year in a hell of his own making, meditating through the pain and pushing his body until his explosions didn't just break objects, but shattered the air itself. Then, he reached it. He felt his own Will manifest—the ability to coat his spirit and his fire in obsidian-black armor.

"You're here... that's a miracle," Shoto said, his mismatched eyes narrowing as he sensed the sheer pressure radiating off Bakugo.

"What? How dare you look down on me. I was never late before," Bakugo gritted out, his teeth bared in a familiar snarl, though his eyes remained eerily calm.

The Mountain of Will

Before he could continue his retort, the door opened again.

A young man with dark green hair, standing at 6 feet tall, walked in. He carried a yellow backpack and a presence that felt like a mountain. This was Izuku Midoriya. His uniform was tight against his chest and arms—a physical map of the thousands of hours spent hauling trash and fighting monsters to awaken the Will that his lack of a Quirk had denied him.

"Oh... you're already here. Good morning Tenya-san, Todoroki-san, Yaoyorozu-san..." Izuku paused, his eyes landing on the spiky-haired blonde in the front row. "And... what?! Ka-Kacchan?! How... this is impossible!"

Izuku's face was a mask of pure disbelief.

"DAMN YOU, DEKU! SHUT UP!" Bakugo roared, a small spark popping in his hand. "Stop looking at me like I'm a ghost!"

The two stared at each other, a history of rivalry and growth flashing between them. Bakugo remembered the sting of his pride when Izuku—the "Quirkless" kid—had awakened Haki first. It had forced Bakugo to realize the world didn't care about natural talent.

Izuku, meanwhile, touched the scars on his hands. He remembered the beach, the trash, and that fateful day at the grocery store involving a 20-foot One-Eyed Beast. He had been nobody then—just a kid with a dream. But when he saw a mother and child trapped in the monster's path, his body moved on its own. He hadn't thought about being Quirkless; he only thought about the words that fueled his soul:

"It's alright... why? Because I am here!"

That was the moment his Will had manifested—a black ink covering his fist as he collided with the monster. He would have died if All Might hadn't appeared to finish the beast, looking at Izuku not as a victim, but as a successor.

The Vanguard Assembles

"Midoriya-san, you're just in time," Momo said, her voice bringing a sense of calm. "We were discussing the expedition to the South Pole. With both you and Bakugo-san having mastered your Will, our chances of survival in the Blue Star sectors have increased significantly."

"The South Pole..." Izuku murmured. "The Marine Academy. All Might told me about that place. He said it's where the 'True Will' is tested."

The door cycled open again, and a boisterous energy entered.

"Whoa! What's with the heavy atmosphere so early?" Eijiro Kirishima walked in, his bright red hair spiked as sharply as ever. Standing at 6'1" with massive shoulders, he was the ultimate tank. He had learned to layer his Will over his hardening Quirk, creating a defense that could withstand the tremors of a sinking landmass.

"Bakugo! Midoriya! You guys are both here early? That's manly as hell!" Kirishima grinned, slapping Bakugo on the shoulder—the only person brave enough to do so.

"You bet," Kirishima replied, his expression turning serious. "After the sinkholes in Kyoto... we can't afford to be weak. If the ancestors' seals are breaking, the Green Star needs warriors."

One by one, the rest of Class 3-A filled the room. Denki Kaminari, Kyoka Jiro, and Mina Ashido arrived, followed by Tsuyu Asui and Ochaco Uraraka. Ochaco's eyes, once purely cheerful, now held the same hardened "Will" as Izuku—the look of a hero who had practiced until she could lift mountains.

The class was no longer just a group of students; they were the final line of defense.
