The Kaiju that would one day come to be known as 'Trespasser' gave a confused and slightly fearful roar at the colossal creature that suddenly rose from the waters.
The 300-feet-tall beast stared at the glowing blue eyes of the native Titan that towered over it at 400 feet.
The beast had no knowledge of such creatures existing in this world. It only knew that it was supposed to eradicate any living creature it saw.
Its engineered instincts triggered as its two brains came to the conclusion that this beast was dangerous and could be a threat to its mission.
So it did exactly what it was designed to do.
It attacked.
Trespasser roared and swung its claws at the colossal lizard, aiming at the glowing blue eyes and the glowing dorsal plates with its other hand while ignoring the sting from the missiles and artillery levelled against it by the humans.
However, Godzilla easily evaded the attack to its face and tanked the attack to its dorsal plates. The measly 2800 tons of weight of the alien and its resulting power meaning nothing to the nearly 98,000 tons of pure muscle and power of the native titan.
Godzilla roared at the challenge from the alien and swung his own claws, directly tearing open a large wound on the beast's chest.
Trespasser shrieked in agony as its blue blood flowed like a river, contaminating its surroundings instantly.
Godzilla picked up on it immediately.
Realizing that if he let the beast bleed anymore, it would cause irreparable damage to the local waters and land, he decided to end it as clearly as possible.
With a strange whirring noise filling the air, he prepared his final attack.

"Move! Move! Move! Get those civilians out of here!!"
Ford followed the orders of his current superior and guided the few remaining civilians in the city towards the shelters.
"This way! This way! Into the subways!!"
In the sky, jets continued flying and firing at the monster that was now being assailed by another monster.
The creature bled a blue fluid that fell like rain on the ground below while the attacking giant roared in anger.
Ford watched as the jets pelted the creature's hide with missiles to no avail.
Then, he saw it.
The other beast, the one that looked like a giant lizard, started to emit a strange humming noise as a blue glow started to travel up its dorsal plates.
Then, the blue shine shifted. Deeper, darker, and then, all of a sudden, it changed color completely, becoming a shade of pink.
What followed, he could only describe as awe-inspiring and terrifying all at once.
A solid beam of energy erupted from the maw of the lizard, slicing the other beast in twain.
The beam easily passed through the creature as if it were made of paper, cutting it in half cleanly, while also cauterizing the wound, making sure none of its blood would leak onto the ground.
Then, the beast roared in victory and huffed before stepping back into the waters, swimming away to who knows where.
"....What the actual fuck?"
Ford shared the same sentiment as his fellow soldier, but he shifted his focus back to the present.
"Keep moving! We are not done yet!!"
That snapped the soldiers out of their daze as they moved to secure the civilians and make sure to keep them safe until the orders came through for an all-clear.
And yet, as they kept to their tasks, one thing was clear for everyone involved.
Things have suddenly changed, the rules of the world have changed.
And now, humanity had to learn the new rules and how to use them to their advantage.

Within the ocean, Godzilla swam as quickly as he could.
"Goji! I heard what happened from Kyogre! How is the fight going!?"
Godzilla snarled in anger.
"Damned invaders! Their blood is poison. I smelt the corruption within its body when I killed it. We need to get rid of whatever portal they are using."
"It's deep beneath the sea. Kyogre is already there. But, there is a problem."
"What?"
"He can't close it."
That made Godzilla pause.
In his memory, there was never a time when he heard Mothra say those words. Neither did he remember a time when one of the trio claimed something to be impossible. They only ever claim something to be difficult.
Without wasting any more time, he kept swimming deeper and deeper until he finally arrived at the source.
The portal that connected their world with the other side.
A portal that was under the constant bombardment of Kyogre in his primal form, yet remained as it was, with no signs of it destabilizing.
Godzilla did not waste any time talking and instantly powered up his atomic breath, pushing it to the limits and targeting the portal.
However, despite the combined assault, the result was still the same.
It remained unscathed.
"What the hell is this?"
"I don't know. But I think we will need to wait until Rayquaza gets back. He might know of a way to make this portal collapse."
The two titans remained above the portal, ready to intercept another invader from beyond.
However, no invader would come through as they expected.
They remain there until Rayquaza and Groudon arrive in their full power and fail to destroy the portal.
Then, six months later, when they finally left the portal alone, thinking that the danger had passed, the second attack would come.
An attack that would be similarly thwarted by Godzilla.
Then, the third attack would come.
Then, the fourth.
Finally, the world would realize that this was not going to stop.
The unification that Rayquaza always hoped for would come to pass. Yet, it would be under circumstances he could have never imagined.
