Not much longer and the 329th Alecti exam would come to a beginning. Two examiners stood patiently at the gate. "Seems like no one's coming for this time?!" The other replied controlled: "You never know. Maybe there is still someone out there giving their best to make it on time. But I know that you hate receiving the participants; if you want to, you can go, I am very sure that I can handle this here alone…"
As the other examiner wanted to leave, they began to feel something. An incredible threatening aura. "W-what is this?" They both prepared themselves for a fight.
Not much later someone came out of depths of the forest! It was a young man, barely twenty years old! The young man continued to walk determined to the two examiners: "What should we do?"
The closer the young man came, they noticed something. He wasn't conscious! As soon they noticed that; he simply fell on ground.
A few hours later he woke up. "Where, where am I?" Right next to his bed the elderly examiner sat and said "Congratulations. You made it to the exam, you came out of the forest with threatening energy, I deduce you probably got injured so badly you lost your consciousness; but your willpower kept you walking! The exam starts tomorrow anyways, if I would've been you, I would get as much rest as possible!" He said while already walking away.
As the young man gained back his consciousness, he started to realize what he even accomplished! "I really did it! I have been wandering through the wild nature for almost a whole year. Now I finally made it!" He thought calm. Even though he hit a milestone he didn't dared to get too cocky over it!
Suddenly, the day of rest was already over. He was in his home room the whole time, so he never managed to talk or even see the other participants. Not much later an examiner called every participant to get ready.
"Before the first test starts we unfortunately need to have a little flight to our exam…hehe…" Outside of the Alecti Headquarters a giant zeppelin stood ready for a flight!
Almost no one knew it. That was already a part of the first test!
But he already had a feeling…
"What is their plan? It feels as if this is already the first test?! Sigh…there is nothing to do know…besides getting information´s about the other participants. Those exams almost have no rules at all, especially no rules when it comes to violence between participants." Thinking of this he suddenly saw a little crowd around something.
He got himself in the crowd, trying to see what is so interesting? A chess match.
There was a guy in full black clothing, his face and body language was literally expressionless and had no emotions at all! This guy was fighting a chess computer; it is the best chess computer in the world: deck fish! But the reason why there was such a big crowd is because it looks like he is winning!
Seeing the name of the computer, the young man instantly thought about earth: "Wasn't on earth and computer with a similar name?"
BAM!
"What was that?" It kicked him instantly out his thoughts. The contestant beat the computer and slammed his forehead against the table, leaving everyone in shock. But the crowd thought the same things: "Why? He is winning?!" The difference is just…the contester was able to see a forced made in fifty nine moves! Obviously, no one beside him could see this. He stood up. His face drained in blood, staying emotionless and just walking away, not explaining a thing.
The young man also used to play chess on earth. He noticed something, he remembered that the best computer on earth has an Elo of over three thousand. This here had over ten thousand. He had only one thing in his mind: "This guy is a genius; I should be careful."
He looked at this unknown genius, the genius bumped into someone, a guy who was at least two meters/ six feet and eight inches tall; he was quite the opposite from the unknown genius, his outfit was extremely colorful with much neon colors and pink hair.
"You should watch were you walk little man, hehe…" His voice had something extremely threatening, treacherous and beside that even and slightly perverted tone. The genius wanted to walk further, not caring about the tall man.
Suddenly the tall man activated his aura filled with indescribable killing intent; it was so strong no one could move! Not even the young man, even the genius had problems and even showed little emotion. They couldn't move because they literally couldn't; they couldn't move not because it felt so threatening but because they literally couldn't.
But there were two people that could move. A young teenager, on earth the young man would guess that he is Asian but, in this world, there is nothing like nationality or so. But this boy who was barely sixteen or so continued eating like it was nothing!
The other who moved normally; was the president, the president of the Alecti association! The man who is over two hundred years old!
He laughed lightly and said "Oh kids. Don't be so rude to each other, hehe…Hey you! (Points at the tall man) what´s your name? Wait. You are Lorken right?! Anyways retreat your aura, the exams haven't started yet…Hehehe…"
"So, this is name…from this Lorken I should also stay away…but the most I should stay away from this teenager, no normal teenager could what he did!"
Right before he wanted to explore the zeppelin more, the president approached up to him. You are the kid that came unconscious walking here, right? May I ask what your name is? I am Gideon Thorn."
Even though he is a very serios he liked the president's energy. "My name is Veylan Zereth, its a pleasure to meet you."
A little conservation later the president needed to move on "There is just one thing that was weird, when I told him my name for such a short time his facial expression changed so strong: fear, it looked like he felt truly surprised when I told him my name." This left Veylan puzzled.
