Chapter 8 - Chapter 4.1 — Hundreds of Years Without Touching a Woman

Seeing him lie down so casually, Mo Guilan jumped to her feet.

"Y-you… you're resting here too?!"

Shaun Cole's calm voice drifted over.

"Of course. Otherwise, are you going to control the ship?"

"But don't worry. Even though I haven't touched a woman for several hundred years, I'm not the kind of man who forces himself on women."

"Ah—!"

Mo Guilan immediately covered her mouth. Her face flushed red, then quickly twisted with indignation.

She was just about to retort—until she remembered the terrifying strength of the man before her. All she could do was grit her teeth and glare at Shaun Cole, cursing him silently in her heart.

"If you keep cursing me in your head," Shaun Cole suddenly said with his eyes closed,

"I'll throw you into the sea to feed the sharks."

"W-what?! You can even hear that?!"

Mo Guilan stared at him as if she'd seen a ghost.

"Basic skill," Shaun Cole replied flatly.

"Go to sleep. Tomorrow morning, I'll teach you how to operate the ship. After that, the ship will be under your control."

Hearing this, Mo Guilan opened her mouth as if to say something—

"He only knows how to threaten people with sharks… not gentlemanly at all…"

She muttered under her breath, then lay down and went to rest.

The next morning, Mo Guilan opened her eyes and immediately checked herself. Seeing that her clothes were still perfectly intact, she finally let out a sigh of relief.

Although the man had said he wouldn't do anything to her, she had stayed on guard all night. It wasn't until the latter half of the night that she had unknowingly fallen asleep.

"Eat something later," Shaun Cole said from the control seat.

"Then I'll teach you how to operate the ship. Once you've learned, I'll hand it over to you."

Hearing his voice, Mo Guilan looked toward him and nodded. Then, remembering something, she added a quiet "Okay" toward his back.

She got up, washed up, and ate. By the time everything was done, more than an hour had passed.

Walking back to Shaun Cole's side, she looked at him—now wearing his hood again—and said:

"I'm ready."

"Good. I'll teach you now," Shaun Cole said calmly.

"This button controls engine power—that is, speed.

This one slows the ship down—the brakes…"

He pointed to the rows of controls, explaining them one by one. Mo Guilan listened attentively, nodding from time to time.

At this moment, she only wanted one thing—

To learn as quickly as possible and get this man out of the control room.
