Chapter 42 - Grand Prize — Heaven and Earth Transformed

In an instant, **Belobog** became the center of attention. That left the locals a little dazed—because no matter how you looked at it, everyone's motives weren't exactly *pure*.

[Seele]: So you're all here for the benefits, huh?

[Jing Yuan]: Not quite. Even if you don't exchange any rewards, the Xianzhou Luofu still intends to establish trade relations with you.

Jing Yuan remembered something from long ago. Once upon a time, a boxer from Belobog had come to the Luofu seeking aid. But back then, the Luofu itself was beset with troubles—there was simply no room to help others. In the end, the matter quietly faded away.

How long ago had that been?

…About seven hundred years, perhaps.

[Bronya]: In that case, thank you, General Jing Yuan.

[Jing Yuan]: You're too kind, Guardian. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement. I'll have the Sky-Faring Commission contact you later to discuss specific cooperation.

[Jade]: On behalf of the Interastral Peace Corporation, I would also like to participate in these commercial negotiations.

[Silver Wolf]: The Corporation??? Better be careful during negotiations, @Bronya.

Silver Wolf snorted.

The Xianzhou was one thing—but the IPC? Their reputation was infamous. If anyone knew how ruthless they were, it was her.

She actually liked Bronya quite a bit, so she spoke up without hesitation.

[Jade]: Coming from a Stellaron Hunter wanted across the universe, I don't think your slander carries much weight.

[Silver Wolf]: Heh. Aside from your Corporation, who else in the universe is even bothering to put bounties on us?

[Boothill]: Son of a—so you folks are wanted too? Funny thing, I am as well.

[Trailblazer]: And you sound proud of it?

[Topaz]: Don't forget—wasn't the Annihilation Gang after you not too long ago?

[Silver Wolf]: Small fry. You call *that* a bounty?

[Acheron]: Annihilation Gang… who's that?

Acheron stared at the screen, vaguely feeling like she'd heard the name before. She glanced down at the Duke Inferno sprawled at her feet… and still couldn't recall.

"Tch. Give it here."

She casually grabbed the music box and walked out of the manor.

[Bronya]: Everyone… maybe let's stop arguing for now. We still don't know what Gepard's reward is, and I don't have the authority to decide anything anyway.

Bronya was honestly at a loss. Things had been going just fine—how did it suddenly turn into an argument?

And… it seemed the Stellaron Hunters and the IPC really didn't get along.

No wonder Valerius had joked about scamming bounty money with Silver Wolf earlier.

[Jade]: Very well. This isn't the place for idle debate.

[Silver Wolf]: For once, we agree.

With both sides backing down, everyone's attention finally returned to **Gepard**.

---

At that moment, Gepard stood before the lottery machine, hand already extended.

He pulled the lever.

With a soft clatter, a sphere dropped out.

"…Holy—this is a jackpot."

Valerius only needed one glance to lose his composure.

Was Gepard some kind of hidden ultra-lucky puller?!

[Gepard]: Mr. Valerius… this is a grand prize?

[Valerius]: Mm. Worth **9 points**.

The livestream exploded instantly.

[Lynx]: Nine points?! That's only below Lady Furina's last reward!

[Serval]: Huh. My little brother *is* useful sometimes.

[Seele]: What kind of thing is worth nine points?

[Natasha]: This is unexpected… it's even better than the prize for winning the game.

At this point, everyone had already spent points.

A straight **9-point** reward meant that even if Gepard didn't win the competition, his prize alone would still eclipse everyone else's.

Natasha suddenly realized something—

This time, Belobog had really hit the jackpot.

[Sampo]: Why does *he* get this kind of luck?!

[Serval]: Quiet. Let's see what it actually is.

---

In the space itself, Valerius had already picked up the sphere and began explaining carefully.

"This is a skill. Once you use it, you'll immediately master the ability."

[Gepard]: A skill…? What kind?

"Heaven and Earth Transformed," Valerius said, unable to hide his envy.

"Heaven's Change: You can alter the weather according to your will—clear skies, rain, storms, even gales. All at a single thought."

"Earth's Shift: You can reshape terrain—mountains, plains, grasslands, valleys. As long as you wish it, the land will change into any form you desire."

"Do you understand… what this means?"

In that instant, Gepard froze.

He understood the words—but they felt unreal.

Changing the natural world… by human will alone?

Then, a thought struck him like lightning.

If heaven and earth could be changed—

Then… the snow?

[Gepard]: Mr. Valerius… does this mean I can stop the eternal blizzard?

[Valerius]: Of course. As long as you want it. Not just snow—if you felt like it, you could make a region burn at sixty degrees year-round.

"T-this…"

It was simply too absurd.

Gepard's mind struggled to keep up—but one thing was crystal clear.

The blizzard that had plagued Belobog for generations… was finally coming to an end.

As long as he used this ability, the snow would no longer be an unsolvable curse.

[Gepard]: Thank you. Truly—thank you, Mr. Valerius.

He bowed his head in sincere gratitude.

Without this game Valerius had brought, their hope would never have arrived so quickly.

Yes, with the Astral Express's help, the Stellaron had already been sealed—but the climate itself had long since taken shape. Changing it naturally would have taken countless years.

But now—

Everything was different.

If they could also resolve the Fragmentum…

Then Belobog's revival would finally be complete.
