One of the lesser demons pointed skyward, trembling. "Sir, look!"
The disciples' eyes widened in disbelief. From the heavens, a radiant figure descended, glowing with a light so pure and powerful that it seemed to pierce the darkness itself. Xiao Yan, fully transformed by the tribulation, now radiated a godly aura.
Saint Gil U grinned, pride and awe mixing in his expression. The disciples whispered among themselves, hope sparking in their hearts for the first time.
Xiao Yan's gaze swept across the battlefield, calm and commanding. He landed lightly on the cracked ground, his smile eerily reminiscent of the Ansha.
"Who are you people?" he asked, his voice carrying an authority that seemed to shake even the demons.
The demons trembled, unsure despite their Supreme Commander's presence. The Supreme Commander scowled, trying to hide his unease.
"Xiao Yan! You've become a god now," he sneered. "Impressive… but you still cannot stop us this time."
Xiao Yan's eyes narrowed. "You were there… a thousand years ago!"
The Supreme Commander laughed, the sound cutting through the battlefield like a blade. "Hahaha, you don't remember? I saw how he pushed you down the cliff. Hahahaha!"
"You knave!!" Xiao Yan roared, the power of the godly tribulation radiating outward in waves.
"Xiao Yan, control your anger!" Saint Lu Qi called, concern and caution threading his voice.
A heavy, ominous laugh filled the air, wind whipping violently around them. The sky darkened, signaling that this was only the beginning. The battle for the fate of the world—and the test of Xiao Yan's godhood—had only just begun.
