I swear to fucking god. If I meet those two idiots. I am definitely going to teach them a lesson.
Lei crossed his arms, walking straight down the street. The fountain stood in front of him, water trickling steadily in the unusually quiet air.
I have to hurry, they must be fighting Buggy.
Those two fucking left me sleeping.
No, I'm an idiot. I knew they are like this, who are free-minded, but I still did that shit.
As he walked further, he spotted a platform high above. Zoro stood motionless on it. There was a large cage nearby, and a woman with yellowish hair beside it.
Lei dropped his hips almost to knee level in a low crouch. Then he disappeared in a blur, reappearing sideways of Luffy inside the cage.
He then appeared right in front of Buggy, the sudden movement displacing air with a quick rush that brushed Buggy's face.
Sun breathing, 13th form. He muttered.
Lei inhaled deeply, his chest expanding as the salty air filled his lungs.
He spun in place, the nichirin blade extending outward, its weight pulling his body into tighter, faster rotations. He leaned forward, letting the momentum carry him beyond normal speed, feet sliding across the platform with scraping sounds against the wood.
The spins created overlapping slashes around him, high and low, covering every direction as the blade rose and fell repeatedly to block vertical attacks.
The edge cut through the air faster and faster, the repeated friction heating the steel until it glowed faintly red, warming the surrounding space with rising heat that made sweat bead on nearby skin.
He executed the sequence through twelve precise angles, each form flowing into the next without pause. He performed horizontal cuts, downward chops, upward thrusts, diagonal sweeps, repeating in a continuous cycle.
The strikes widened with each rotation, the blade's path growing larger and heavier, the high whistle of air turning into a deep hum from the speed. Then he planted his heels hard into the platform, boots digging deep grooves into the wood as dust kicked up.
He channeled the remaining momentum into one final vertical slash overhead, the blade crashing down with a heavy thud that cracked the surface beneath his feet.
This shit… I shouldn't use this lightly.
The people around him blinked repeatedly, seeing lingering ghost images of the blade's paths in the air for minutes after the motion stopped, their eyes struggling to adjust to the sudden stillness.
Lei looked ahead. Buggy's body had been sliced into numerous small pieces, scattered across the platform and far into the surrounding town. Through the clean cuts, exposed organs showed instant third-degree burns: skin charred black, flesh blistered and cracked, faint heat still radiating from the seared tissue with a sharp, burnt smell lingering in the air.
My fucking god…
The severed parts had flown outward in every direction, thudding onto rooftops, streets, and ground far away, spreading the remains over a wide distance.
Don't tell me the 13th form stripped the oxygen from the air and boiled the blood in his floating parts simultaneously. Lei's eyes widened.
Please rejoin.
Luffy's eyes widened as he took in the full view from inside the cage, the metallic scent of blood thick around them.
But then a rough cough sounded from one of the pieces.
How?
All the floating parts, suspended on rising steam that hissed softly from the burns, suddenly jerked inward with sharp force. They collided back together with wet slaps of flesh reconnecting, attaching seamlessly to Buggy's torso and legs. He stood upright again on his feet, coughing once more as faint steam escaped from the fresh joints, his boots settling heavily on the creaking platform.
His ability is immune to cut but this gave burn to his organs.
Vacuum?
A smile tugg into his lips. He is lucky.
"YOU IDIOT! YOU SCARED US HALF TO DEATH JUST TO SHOW OFF YOUR STUPID STEAM CUSHION TRICK?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH A NEW CLOAK COSTS?!"
