Chapter 16 - New Law

A 2nd Shadow Forest Snake sank its fangs into Azrael's calf. The group tensed.

"Master Azrael has been poisoned!" Kaya shouted, sprinting to him.

Mary cried his name. Azrael stumbled as his right leg went dead.

Sensing Kaya, the snake slipped back into the shadows the moment its ambush was exposed. This one played it safe.

Azrael, for once, was grateful.

Is this the moment where the wildest memes come true?!

Some memes never die.

One of them was the classic: suck the poison out of his manhood.

It was Azrael's leg, not his cock, but he'd still take a hot woman kneeling by his leg and call it a win.

From the feet to the calf, from the calf to the crotch… where's my queen to handle me?

"Let me handle this, Master Azrael!"

"Oh, you will. Thanks!"

Kaya crouched by his leg. By now, he'd lost all sensation in it and didn't even feel her grab him.

"How do you feel, Azrael?" Mary floated closer, still tense.

"It's fine. It reminds me of that experiment where I made my hand numb to masturbate. Supposedly it would feel like someone else did me, but it was a failed experiment, to say the least!"

"Forget I asked."

Kaya rolled up his pant leg. Two puncture marks bled freely.

She pinched the skin around them and squeezed. Blood and dark venom gushed from the marks.

Azrael narrowed his eyes. "Is it that easy to squeeze the venom out?"

"Yes, as long as it's done right after the bite," Kaya explained.

Not her 1st time. Her hands moved automatically, drawing the venom out.

Once the dark bruising faded, Azrael regained feeling in his leg and could stand normally again.

"Thanks again," he said to Kaya.

She nodded with a serpentine smile, as if she'd outplayed another snake and come out victorious.

"No problem, Master Azrael. Shadow Forest Snakes are common, which means their venom is, too," Kaya said. "We learn young."

She flashed a confident smile. "Days of practice on inedible meat. I'm glad it paid off."

She'd do a lot to save her world.

"This venom doesn't spread fast, does it?" Mary asked.

"It doesn't, at least not with the common variant," Kaya said.

Azrael noticed something odd. "How do you understand her? Did you learn the same skill?"

"Yes!" Mary replied with a bright smile. "My creator takes care of those who contribute to society."

"You contribute more than anyone, my little angel!"

"Your flattery won't get you another skill!" Mary laughed.

Afterward, Azrael slowed down.

He could always open the door to the Death Seesaws Dungeon. If he could hop worlds, distance wasn't the problem.

The problem was the monsters he couldn't grab so easily.

He'd learned a few methods in military school, but he hadn't used any of them earlier because of his horniness and excitement.

Now he perked his ears and focused on the forest's faintest sounds.

There was no need, though, thanks to Kaya's forked tongue and keen senses, which were miles ahead of Azrael's instincts.

"I'll stay alert and blink away from any sudden attacks," Azrael said, loud enough for Mary to hear. "The Sphere can't stay up long."

She nodded. With no gaps for airflow, the oxygen inside would run out fast. It also couldn't move with Azrael.

"You also don't know yet what kind of law you'll be able to control within your sphere," Mary added.

"Yeah, well," Azrael muttered. "I kinda wanted to use it in battle for dramatic effect."

Click! Mary snapped her umbrella shut. For a heartbeat, it looked like a drawn sword.

"Remember my 1st threat?" Mary asked, her voice lethal.

"Haha!" Azrael laughed and scratched his hair. "I'll use it now and prepare accordingly!"

His Conditional Sphere was finally about to make an appearance in the new world. Under Mary's stern motherly glare, Azrael immediately willed the new law into being.

As the law took shape inside the sphere, Kaya froze. She stared, lips parted, disbelief written all over her face.

Could it be that the Death Seesaws Dungeon also held the key to saving our world? Doesn't that mean Master Azrael has more than a single skill to save us?!

Mary looked pleasantly surprised, too. She smiled, clearly excited, and drifted up to Azrael's bubble, circling him as she peered at the new power from every angle.

Azrael was thrilled to the core.

Now we're talking. This is damn cool!
