"Who the hell are the severance cult? And how do they know about the disaster coming?" Alexander paused as if he were asking the wrong questions. "I thought you were the only one aware of the apocalypse." He whispered.
Laurel stood up, her gaze locking with Alexander's questioning gaze. "I guess I'm not the only one who is aware of it." She said, keeping the information about Camile. She was not sure if she could trust him.
"Do you think they mean what they said?" Alexander asked.
"Do you believe their words?" Laurel asked with a little frown.
Alexander shook his head. "As a businessman, I know not to believe such public statements. It means one of two things, either they are naive and have good intentions, or they have hidden agendas. I doubt it is the first one."
"Exactly, publicly announcing it will cause panic among the people, because right now they are like a drowning man grasping at straws.
