(Next day)
Inside a room, a petite woman with long black hair sprawled on her bed. The yin-yang necklace around her neck pulsed.
"Laurel, wake up." Ling Xuan's cold voice echoed so loudly in her head.
Laurel gasped as she suddenly snapped her eyes open. She groggily rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand.
"Time for training." Ling Xuan's voice echoed in her head again.
When Laurel glanced at the clock sitting on the shelf by her bed, she groaned in annoyance. It was 4:45am.
"Isn't it too early?" Laurel asked, yawning.
"Get in the space." Ling Xuan's tone left no room for argument.
"Coming."
Laurel sighed. She climbed out of her bed and freshened up before entering the space.
Ling Xuan stood outside the space house, her hands behind her back.
"Legs apart," Ling Xuan commanded.
Laurel was taken aback, she was just getting there. She spread her legs apart.
"Hands forward," Ling Xuan walked closer to her. "Knee lowered, spine straight." Her voice echoed through the air.
