I sighed and approached her, rubbed her shoulders, easing her anger.
"Mother... Please... Calm down... You wouldn't want Father to know that you're hurting the servants... Right? He had forbidden you already from meeting servants besides yours... So please... Mother.... Stop it and start acting like an Empress" I said concerned.

"Oh honey... You're the only thing this empire brings joy to me. Your cheating father is an asshole for not treating your mother right, right? " She said sweetly.
I chuckled and nodded, leaning in on her hands.

"Princess Eloise?.... The emperor just called you on his study... He said he's going to give you an assignment" A servant's voice echoed outside Mother's room.
I smiled at my mother and kissed her forehead "I'll go now Mother... We don't want Father to be angry" I coaxed her and led her to her bed.
"Go sleep and rest Mother... You need it" I said sweetly.
She just sighed and smiled, nodded slowly before drifting to sleep.
I spun around and looked at the servants "I'm sorry for her action... Jena.. Moli... It's just.. Father's mistress brings her like this... So—"

I smiled at the guards outside making them blush "thank you for protecting my father" I said before entering his study.
Seeing Father writing something on a piece of paper, still looks dashing and striking with his old age. I chuckled and excitedly run towards him, seating directly at his lap.
I purred and rubbed my head on his toned chiseled chest.
"I've missed you" I said.
He chuckled, both of his hands immediately flew on my thighs and my hair, rubbing it affectionately.
"I've also missed you dear... I'm just quite busy about your Mother's small trip to her hometown" He said and kissed my forehead before writing something on the paper again, the hands on my hair dissapread.
I sighed and played with his wrist's cufflinks "Wouldn't that be sad Father?... She's leaving... An Empire without an Empress would be sad" I said.
He chuckled and began rocking his thighs where I sit making me giggle.
"Then I guess I would just make you the Empress eh? " He said jokingly.
I gasped and slapped his chest before playing with his cufflinks again.
"Don't joke like that!!! You know Mom.... she's jealous" I said.
He sighed "Mhm... I know.... It's alarming on the fact that she's jealous of her own daughter"
I sighed and bit my lips, feeling bored.
"What's my assignment now Father? I forgot to ask about it as I've missed you so much" I said and began to sway my legs.
"Don't get to bored Dear, I will just finish your Mother's trip plan and I will endulge you" He said coaxing making me roll my eyes.
"Hmph! You should've called me later! " I said making him chuckled and squeeze my thighs.
