A group of soldiers that were using automatic pistols in white armor fell to the ground and died as beasts tour them into a million pieces.
As the warriors fell to the ground an individual that was carrying a backpack and wearing armor but not using any kind of weapons started to run back towards the entrance of the cave out of fear.
"Hold your ground.If you do not, they will make it through to the other side of the gate!". A human that was in white body armor said as he started to shoot his auto rifle at a war wolf that was rushing at all of the other human soldiers that were in it and in its packs way to the other side.
The shots from the individual's auto rifle hit the wolf on the legs and then it fell to the ground lifeless.
" I am not cut out for this work. It is too challenging for a simple gatherer like me. If it can kill three foot troopers in a matter of seconds , then I do not stand a chance." He said out of fear as he started to walk back.
"You are contractly obligated to do your job even if it means death." The main soldier said to the gatherer. " Here so that you have less complain about.I will finish this very quickly on my own. I am a silver rank Guardian, if I cannot defeat something this simple, then I will be horrible at my job."
"I need for the buffers to give us the boost that it need to defeat them before the blue gate turns silver and we are out of time." The man said to three other individuals that were behind him all wearing the same type of clothing that he was wearing.
As they each transferred a buff to him he saw that my body felt lighter and my eyes felt steadier as if my shots would become more precise for a short while.
When I had the buffs from the other members of my group , I rushed at each of the wolves , shooting them in the vital areas , underneath their necks to ensure a quick death.
After the last one of the wolves were slain, I made my way to the back of the trail I was on to search for any Carpinton srones that might be in the cave.
"It is now your turn to do your job as the gather that was hired." The Human send to an individual that had a giant silver pickaxe on his back.
After the minor completed gathering the minerals he quickly ran out of the gate since it was collapsing since the Invaders on this side were now all dead.
Then after the person that was contracted to mine, the minerals got finished.Everyone left the portal and returned back to the world of Cryost since the gate was shutting off.
In the world of Cryost a human archaeologist discovered ancient gates that he believed would lead to a paradise, but unknown to him , when he activated it , he opened a portal to another world that was quite the opposite of what they were used to.
While the world of Cryost was an advanced sci-Fi world that has only humans living in it on the verge of collapse. The other world that these gates lead to happen to be a fantasy world where demons lived.
After the archaeologist discovered the gate , he did not do anything about it or ten days and the gate turned from a normal blue gate into a white gate.
When a gate turns white, the creatures from the other side becoming enhanced and go through a racial evolution, making it even harder for the people on the other side to win any battles.
Then after ten more days the enemies can cross over to invade the world.
In order to fight the demonic creatures on the other side and also together the minerals that were there the government created a new force of Guilded Vanguard.
The Gilded Vanguard bite , collect the minerals and use that to hire differnt types of people that live to assist them in their jobs.
The gates to this new world that were on this world became active after the first kagate was turned on.
These gates were ranked by a special government organization that worked separate from The Guild Vanguard. They were called The Gate Scout Force or G.S.F. they go into the gates and scout out what kind of creatures are on the other side.v then they rank it based on that.
A guild vanguard would not be allowed to go through a particular gates unless they have the rank equal or higher than the gate.
The world went black and the area around it was a classroom proving that all that I had just seen was a video.
"So as you can see , our jobs as guild vanguards are very important. Not all breaches to the other side will end successfully for you. You may lose comrades , and you may even lose your own life. You must be both optimistic and a little worried so that you do not get too arrogant about the technological advantage that we possess over the demons.
The demons proven that despite their technological inferiority to us , they are ingenuitive creative and also able to adapt."
Then the speaker left the room , and everyone else began to talk among themselves.
I set in the back of the room by myself not wanting to interact with anyone else. I always preferred to work alone.\nIn all of my projects, ever since I was a child to me this job as a recently pointed Guilded Vailguard would be no different for me.I would prefer to do everything on my own without having to hire anyone for aid or even get one of the other students to pair up with me.
My Name is Destiny and this is the beginning of my journey as a Guilded Vanguard.
"Are you wanting to join me because I know that you are currently not with anyone?" A short mail with brown hair asked me in a stuttering tone as he approached me
"No I do not want to work with you. I plan to work alone on my path to the top. I will not tolerate anyone that gets in my way or holds me back. I will do anything as long as it leads to me meeting the Archon Vanguard that I owe everything to." I said to him as I flipped my hair and walked away from the desk, I was sitting In.
"That tells me that you are going to need at least one other person to help you make your journey easier." He said as he followed me as if he was not going to take no for an answer.
I quickly left the area where the introduction seminar was held for Gilded Vanguards in a sprint so i could leave him behind without having to give him any more explanations.
After I left the room, I bobbed and weaved throughout the alleyways, and I made my way to the market place where I could by my starting gear for my first attempt at soloing a portal so that I may climb my way to the top and achieve my dream.
