"Adults?" She tilted her head, so cute, as her violet eyes blinked in genuine confusion. "Could it be, Benjamin, that you truly think we are children?"

My mouth opened, then closed again as nothing was coming out, then I felt the back of my neck and face heating up from embarrassment.
