Chapter 3 - chapter 3Forgiveness and an Unthinkable Embrace

When Seo-Yong announced Min-Ji's removal from the company, the entire corridor fell into a deathly silence.

But Arin couldn't stay quiet.

She ran straight toward Seo-Yong and stood in front of him.

Arin (pushing him slightly):

"Stop! Are you a human being or a stone? How can you be this cruel?"

Seo-Yong stared at her in shock. Everything he had done was to protect Arin—yet she was the one accusing him.

Seo-Yong:

"Arin, she was trying to destroy you! I punished her for your sake."

Arin:

"I don't want this kind of punishment! I don't want to build my dream by ruining someone else's life."

As soon as she said that, Arin turned around and wrapped her arms around Min-Ji, who was lying on the floor, crying in pain and humiliation.

Min-Ji never imagined that the girl she tried to destroy would be the one holding her like this.

Arin (holding Min-Ji tightly):

"Don't cry, Min-Ji. As long as I'm here, nothing will happen to you. I don't want your years of effort and dreams to end because of me."

Min-Ji's clenched fists slowly loosened. The hatred in her eyes melted into tears.

At that moment, she realized—Arin wasn't just a singer. She had an enormous heart.

Arin then turned back to Seo-Yong. Her eyes were wet, but her voice was firm.

Arin:

"You may be the owner. You may be powerful. But you don't have the right to take away someone's livelihood like this.

If you truly respect me, then forgive Min-Ji. Let her stay in the group."

Seo-Yong stood frozen.

He had grown up in a world where power meant crushing enemies. Mercy had never been part of the rules.

But today, Arin taught him something new.

With a long sigh, he looked at Min-Ji.

Seo-Yong:

"Today, you live only because of Arin. Remember this—she protected you, not me. From now on, you owe her your life."

Min-Ji broke down completely, clutching Arin's legs.

"I'm sorry, Arin. I misunderstood you… I was wrong."

Arin helped her up gently.

"We all came here chasing dreams, Min-Ji. Not to destroy each other."

Seo-Yong watched from a distance, a faint smile on his lips.

He always knew Arin was special—but today she proved she wasn't just an idol.

She had the power to change a rotten system.

Arin looked at Min-Ji with no hatred in her eyes, only a quiet light.

"From today… we're friends."

Min-Ji stared at her in disbelief.

"I tried to ruin you… and you still call me a friend?"

Arin:

"In this competitive world, we're all alone. You were fighting to protect your place. I was fighting to protect my dream.

From now on, we fight together. She Knows belongs to all of us."

Min-Ji hugged Arin tightly.

Inside this cold corporate building filled with ambition and power games, the friendship between two former rivals became something rare—almost sacred.

Seo-Yong's Reaction

Standing aside, Seo-Yong watched quietly.

I may rule this industry with power, he thought,

but Arin will change it with love.

He walked toward them calmly.

Seo-Yong:

"Min-Ji, if Arin forgave you, I have nothing more to say. From today on, your paths are tied. You are each other's strength."

Arin smiled at Seo-Yong—no anger left, no resentment.

She understood now: he wanted to protect her, but she had her own identity.

That night marked a new beginning.

A simple girl from Dhaka.

A powerful owner from Seoul.

And a former enemy.

Their fates were now bound together.

Street Food, Laughter, and Freedom

Later that night—

Min-Ji:

"Arin, let me take you somewhere I love. Enough dieting and practice—tonight we eat properly!"

Arin laughed and agreed.

They went to Myeong-dong Street Food Market, where the air was filled with irresistible smells.

Tteokbokki & Kimbap:

Arin tried spicy rice cakes for the first time—and nearly cried from the heat, laughing through the pain.

Ice Cream:

Min-Ji smeared a bit on Arin's nose.

"You look like a kid!"

Street Music:

Hearing the beat, both of them started dancing casually.

Passersby clapped and gathered around.

Arin told Min-Ji stories of Dhaka—rickshaw rides, rainy-day khichuri, and the rooftop where her idol dream was born.

Min-Ji:

"I thought you were playing corporate tricks… but you're actually so simple and sincere."

Arin:

"Being friends isn't just about laughing. It's about standing together on hard days. We'll make She Knows the world's best group."

Under Seoul's neon lights, they walked hand in hand.

For the first time, Arin didn't feel alone.

The Street Performance That Changed Everything

With a glance and a smile, Min-Ji signaled—

Eight more trainee girls rushed in.

Ten girls lined up in the middle of the street.

The music blasted—She Knows' signature track.

Arin stepped forward, blending Dhaka's fire with Seoul's precision.

Perfect synchronization shook the street.

Arin and Min-Ji held hands, spinning together—no jealousy left, only unity.

Tourists filmed. Someone shouted:

"Are they a new idol group? Their energy is insane!"

When the dance ended, applause poured in.

From inside a black-tinted car nearby, Seo-Yong watched, smiling with pride.

"Release the footage," he told his assistant.

"Tomorrow, all of Seoul will know—She Knows' real power has arrived."Viral Fame and the Shadow Rising

By morning, the video exploded.

Seo-Yong made his move.

"Announce the new lineup. Arin is the center."

But in the shadows, a man was furious.

Shi-Hyun—a powerful producer and Seo-Yong's rival—smashed his glass.

"I'll destroy this Bangladeshi girl… and Seo-Yong's golden project."

Fake news. Hate campaigns.

Protesters outside the company gates.

And then—

During the MV shoot, a lighting stand snapped loose, falling straight toward Arin.

Min-Ji screamed:

"ARIN—MOVE!"

The massive metal structure crashed down Then it will be seen. Flashback Hidden among the crowd, a black luxury car stood silently by the roadside.

Inside the car, Seo-Yong sat close to the window, one hand resting against the glass.

The city lights reflected in his sharp eyes as he watched everything unfold—the laughter, the unity, the raw passion of the ten girls dancing in the middle of Seoul's streets.

When Arin stepped forward as the center, his gaze softened.

He saw it clearly now.

Not a trainee.

Not a foreign girl.

But a leader.

A queen born from struggle.

Seo-Yong slowly lowered the window. The distant music, the cheers, and the rhythm of She Knows drifted inside the car. For a brief moment, the powerful owner of the company allowed himself a rare smile.

He whispered to himself,

"You didn't just survive this city, Arin…

You made it bow to you."

He took out his phone and dialed his assistant.

Seo-Yong:

"Record everything. Every angle.

Tomorrow morning, Seoul wakes up knowing one thing—

She Knows isn't coming.

They've already arrived."

The window slid shut.

The black car slowly pulled away, disappearing into the neon-lit night—

leaving behind ten girls, a roaring crowd, and the beginning of a legend.
