Frank stared at the notification speechless while thinking silently.
Frank stared deeply at the notification before remembering something he missed the first time the skill Meditation(F) had been activated.
He hadn't controlled the activation of the skill or said he wanted to activate the skill so why was it activated, it was almost as if the skill activated on it's own whenever Frank decided to think about his human life.
Frank hesitated for a while, thinking he was probably wrong and that skills always activated when the owner of the skill fulfilled certain conditions but at that moment he remembered that most of his human skill became cursed immediately he stepped into the land of souls while he never heard of any side effects of using the Drift and Meditation skill.
It was almost like they were conveniently flawless without any curse having an effect on them, while following this train of thought, he also remembered what the skill description of Meditation(C) degraded had hinted.

At that time Frank had not focused on the acquisition of the new skill instead he was probably thrilled with the thought of acquiring a new skill that he believed was overpowered(OP).

Frank read the first sentence in the description several times before he understood what it meant.
To clarify, the skill "Meditation(C) degraded" was the version of meditation that truly belonged to Frank but the skill "Meditation(F+)" wasn't Frank's true skill, the "reward" Death gave him that developed his skill seemed to have a piggyback, one that made the skill "Sentient".
Frank gasped slowly as he finally discovered the meaning of the words in the sentence.
"How could I have been so dumb"
"I should have known better than to take things at a surface level"
"I lived a lifetime of being cheated and also cheating others but I fell for the oldest trick in the book"

After a while, Frank calmed down and said:
"It doesn't look like the skill is doing anything bad to me for now but, I have to be aware of the repercussions of the skill and that one day, Death would come to collect what was his"
Putting his fear of the inevitable to one side of his mind, Frank decided to look around his surroundings, since he was feeling especially brilliant.
Frank looked around his surroundings and was surprised by what he saw. He saw something reminiscent to what happened when he was in a buff state during his fight with the huge skeleton in the Talent Bout only this time he felt as if "time" had slowed down instead of he being faster than usual.
He looked all around his surroundings and saw clots of purple gas slowly flowing down from the atmosphere, he stepped outside his room and saw a marvelous sight.
All of Maru's servants were slowly doing their chores, Maru walked into their rooms and inspected their progress in the formation of the crypt they were making that was supposed to connect into the Darkovian mine.
Frank explored the crypt of a skeleton with an ability that looked like he was using blinding purple light to blaze the ground, slowing burning up the cemented floor, another one was using the purple gas in the atmosphere to slowly break up the ground and lastly Berry, who seemed like he used telepathic abilities to control pieces of scrap metal mixed together with small broken pieces of concrete to repeteadly pound and batter the ground, after a while the newly broken pieces were hurled out using telepathy, freeing the space for a new pounding to resume.
Surprisingly, Berry was the only one who didn't have substantial progress in the forming of the crypt, Frank wondered why, he thought Berry was probably like him who was new to the "Servant's Chores" or that he had just learnt the telepathy skill.
Frank prepared to inspect another room when he faced a predicament:

Frank remembered that the amount of time it took for him to gain control for his leg was at least 5 minutes and was wondering if the situation could get any worse.
Unfortunately for him it could because precisely at the moment Frank turned his back he saw Sebastian approaching him slowly with his face showing a grim expression.
