Chapter 94 - Chapter 94: Devil Meets The Dark Dragon King

[Panchal Kingdom]

A young man with pitch-black hair and deep black eyes wearing weird clothes according to the surrounding people. Muttering something under his breath, "Father You! Where is this place? Weird clothes, stupid people, and this unfamiliar terrain."

The young man's voice held a touch of frustration as he scanned his surroundings, trying to make sense of the unfamiliar kingdom he had found himself in.

"That was a random teleportation I did, But you can care of yourself and remember your redemption, Lucifer." A fleeting voice of The Creator echoed in the young man named Lucifer's ears.

As he observed the people around him, the architecture, and the way of life in this kingdom, Lucifer couldn't help but contrast it with the world he had come from. It was a stark difference, and the inhabitants of this place seemed vastly different from what he had encountered before.

"KING, QUEEN AND PRINCESS IS BACK!!!"

Lucifer's head snapped in the direction of the excited shout. The crowd around him seemed to part as a procession made its way through the street. A grand carriage adorned with intricate designs carried within it figures of great importance.

Inside the carriage, Lucifer could see the regal figure of a king, the elegant presence of a queen, and a young princess, all dressed in resplendent attire. They were accompanied by a group of attendants, who announced their return with jubilation.

As the carriage drew closer, Lucifer found himself caught in the wave of enthusiasm that rippled through the gathered crowd. People cheered and waved, their faces alight with joy at the return of their monarchs.

Lucifer's curiosity got the better of him, and he moved closer to the procession, trying to understand the situation. His presence did not seem to go unnoticed, as some of the bystanders gave him curious glances. It was evident that he was a stranger in this land.

The young man muttered to himself, "What in the heavens is happening here? Did I somehow stumble into a royal homecoming celebration?"

He contemplated his options. Lucifer wasn't one to shy away from a situation, and he had a knack for adapting to unfamiliar circumstances. However, this was an entirely new realm, and he did not know its customs, politics, or the identities of these royals.

But then Lucifer's eyes were drawn to the beautiful girl in the carriage. She had an air of grace and elegance about her that set her apart from the rest of the royal entourage. Her features were delicate, her eyes sparkled with intelligence, and her presence exuded an aura of quiet strength.

As the carriage drew nearer, Lucifer could see that the young girl's expression was a mix of sadness and longing.

Lucifer couldn't help but be captivated by the princess's demeanour. There was a profound sadness in her eyes, and it stirred something within him, a sense of empathy and intrigue. He had a feeling that there was more to her story than meets the eye.

"Who is she?" Lucifer wondered aloud, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Oh! looks like you are new around here, She is the princess Draupadi of this kingdom. There is a rumour flying around that the princess loves the saviour of the kingdom very much and wants to marry him."

'I want this princess for myself'

As Lucifer absorbed the information about the princess and her rumoured affections, a mischievous glint entered his eyes. His tendency to embrace opportunities and his somewhat unconventional nature led him to entertain an audacious idea.

"Princess Draupadi, you say?" Lucifer muttered to himself, a sly smile playing on his lips. "Well, it seems I've stumbled upon quite an interesting scenario."

'But let's meet this somewhat strong presence that is following her' Lucifer thought while looking at the roof of the nearest building.

Swiss

Lucifer's sudden appearance behind the mysterious figure caused them to startle. They turned swiftly, their eyes widening in surprise as they found themselves face-to-face with the enigmatic newcomer.

The figure was cloaked in a dark hooded robe that obscured their features, but their stance and aura radiated a sense of vigilance and readiness. Their eyes, which gleamed with an otherworldly intensity, bore into Lucifer's with a mixture of curiosity and caution.

"Who are you?" the figure demanded, their voice low and tinged with an air of authority.

Lucifer's own gaze met the figure's, and he could sense a formidable presence within them. This was no ordinary individual; there was a certain aura of power and purpose that surrounded them.

"Call me Lucifer," he replied with a casual yet confident tone, his black eyes locking onto the figure. "I couldn't help but be intrigued by the commotion surrounding the princess. And it seems you've piqued my curiosity as well."

The figure's response was guarded, and they continued to regard Lucifer with a hint of suspicion. "What business do you have with my mistress, the Princess Draupadi?"

Lucifer nodded in understanding. "I can appreciate your dedication to her safety. It's clear that you are not just an ordinary guardian."

The figure hesitated for a moment, then spoke in a more measured tone. "I am Vritra, Servant of my master Karna."

Lucifer's eyes gleamed with a mixture of interest and amusement at the figure's introduction. The name 'Karna' struck a chord with him.

[Champa City, Royal Palace]

As Krishna and Balaram stood at the gates of the palace, a grand carriage awaited them, ready to transport them on their journey back to Vrindavan.

The palace guards and attendants had made the necessary preparations, and the atmosphere was filled with a sense of anticipation.

Krishna, dressed in his signature attire with a peacock feather adorning his hair, exuded an air of both regal authority and approachability. His eyes held the wisdom of ages, and his smile carried the warmth of a thousand suns.

Balaram, Krishna's elder brother, stood tall and imposing, his physical strength matched by his calm demeanour. He exuded a sense of steadfastness and reliability, a rock upon which others could depend.

"Next time we meet Bhrata Karna, I will defeat you in Kushti (Wrestling)" Balaram said with a smile facing Karna who had a sad frown on his face.

Karna, who had been informed of Krishna and Balaram's impending departure, stood before them with a sense of mixed emotions. While he respected their decision to return to Vrindavan and fulfil their responsibilities, a feeling of emptiness tugged at his heart.

"Balaram," Karna replied, his voice carrying a note of sincerity, "I look forward to the day when we can engage in kushti again. May your journey be safe, and may the bonds of our friendship remain unbroken."

Balaram's smile was warm as he clasped Karna's shoulder. "You've become a fine king, Karna. Rule Anga with wisdom and compassion. We will meet again."

Krishna, standing beside his brother, regarded Karna with a depth of understanding. "Bhrata Karna, our paths may diverge for now, but know that our bond transcends time and distance. If you ever require guidance or assistance, remember that we are but a thought away."

Karna's expression softened right after which he pulled both of them for a hug. It was a gesture of deep friendship and respect, a silent acknowledgement of the unique connection they shared.

"Thank you, Krishna, Balaram," Karna said, his voice filled with gratitude. "Your presence in Anga has brought both wisdom and light to this kingdom. I will strive to be a worthy ruler and uphold the values you've imparted to me."

As the three friends parted, the grand carriage awaited Krishna and Balaram. With a sense of purpose and duty, they embarked on their journey back to Vrindavan, leaving Karna to continue his reign in Anga.

The palace grounds seemed quieter in their absence, and Karna couldn't help but feel a sense of melancholy.

But someone's thoughts were different—

"Karna come here~"

A head poked out from behind a nearby column, and it was none other than Kamini our friendly neighbourhood ball of energy.

"Kamini!" Karna exclaimed with a fond smile. Her unexpected appearance brought a touch of liveliness to the somewhat sombre atmosphere that had settled after Krishna and Balaram's departure.

Kamini bounced forward with her usual enthusiasm, her bright eyes shining with energy. "I heard Krishna and Balaram are leaving. Are they gone?"

Karna nodded, his gaze briefly reflecting the emotions he had experienced during their farewell. "Yes, they've returned to Vrindavan."

Kamini's expression shifted from curiosity to determination as she looked up at Karna. "Don't worry, Karna. You're a great king, and I'll make sure to keep the palace lively and the people happy!"

Karna couldn't help but chuckle at Kamini's spirited declaration. Her unwavering positivity was infectious, and it lifted his spirits.

"I do not doubt that you will, Kamini," Karna replied, ruffling her hair affectionately. "Your energy is a gift to this palace."

Kamini beamed with pride at the compliment and then leaned in closer to Karna.

"Karna, can I ask you something?" Kamini's eyes held a glint of curiosity.

"Of course, Kamini," Karna replied with a warm smile. He appreciated Kamini's straightforward nature and the genuine interest she showed in the world around her.

Kamini's expression turned thoughtful as she posed her question. "Why did Krishna and Balaram leave so suddenly? I mean, they're like your brothers, right?"

Karna's gaze shifted to the horizon, his thoughts drifting momentarily to Krishna and Balaram. "Yes, they are like my brothers. But they have responsibilities in Vrindavan that they need to attend to. Sometimes, duty calls, even if it means being apart for a while."

Kamini nodded in understanding, her eyes reflecting a sense of empathy. "I see. Duty is important, isn't it? Just like how you take care of Anga."

Karna's heart swelled with pride at Kamini's insight. "Yes, Kamini, duty is indeed important. It's a commitment to serving others and upholding the values we believe in."

Kamini grinned, her youthful energy radiating. "Well, I'm here to help you too, Karna! I'll be the best helper you've ever had!"

Karna couldn't help but laugh at Kamini's enthusiasm. Her unwavering support was a source of comfort in times of change and transition.

"HEY! Don't forget us."

Brinda, Kali and Scáthach joined the scene, their arrival adding to the lively atmosphere. Each of them had a unique presence that brought a sense of balance and diversity to Karna's life.

"Your Majesty, Your Majesty!"

"WHAT NOW!"
