[Krishna POV]
'This is getting out of hand. This timeline is not going the way it should have. First Karna came to Vrindavan which in itself never happened, and becoming the king of Anga without Duryodhana's help, becoming a student of Bhagwan Parshuram without getting cursed. Now even I don't know the future.'
"And it's all related to Karna."
As Krishna pondered the unusual twists in the timeline, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The events that had unfolded so far were diverging significantly from the well-known narrative of the Mahabharata.
Karna's actions and choices seemed to be shaping the course of history in unexpected ways, raising questions about destiny, free will, and the intricacies of the universe.
Krishna's mind raced as he considered the implications. Karna's presence in Vrindavan, his rise to the throne of Anga, and his connection with various individuals, all of these deviations from the established path had the potential to create ripples throughout the fabric of time.
In his divine wisdom, Krishna understood that the concept of destiny was not always linear or fixed. While certain events might be fated, the choices of individuals could introduce variables that alter the outcome. It was the interplay between fate and free will that made the tapestry of life complex and unpredictable.
As Krishna gazed upon the myriad possibilities that lay before him, he knew that his role as a guide and a protector was more crucial than ever.
The threads of fate were intertwining in new and unexpected patterns, and he needed to ensure that the ultimate balance of dharma and righteousness was upheld.
With a deep sigh, Krishna's thoughts turned to Karna—a man of immense strength, complexity, and untapped potential. Karna's journey had taken a different trajectory in this timeline, and Krishna couldn't help but wonder what new challenges and opportunities awaited him.
"Perhaps," Krishna mused to himself, "Karna's presence in Vrindavan was meant to serve a greater purpose—one that goes beyond the known narratives. His interactions with others, his choices, and his relationships are all shaping a unique tapestry of events."
Krishna knew that he would have to observe and intervene carefully, guiding those who were entangled in this intricate web of fate. The destiny of individuals, kingdoms, and the entire realm was at stake.
"You even become someone irreplaceable in my life too Karna. This time I will give my everything to save you from any injustice or misfortune that may befall you," Krishna murmured to himself, his determination solidifying.
He had seen the depths of Karna's character, his unwavering loyalty, and his genuine heart. Despite the deviations in this timeline, Krishna believed that the core essence of Karna remained unchanged.
"But my dear Mamashri comes first. I have to 'take care' of him."
With his mind resolved and his determination steeled, Krishna's focus shifted to the broader landscape of events.
He knew that Kansa's presence posed a significant threat to the balance of dharma, and his primary concern was to ensure that Kansa's malevolent plans did not wreak havoc upon the world.
"I must keep a close watch on Kansa's movements," Krishna thought, his eyes narrowing with a mixture of vigilance and strategic thinking. "His ambitions must be thwarted before they can plunge the realm into darkness."
[Campa City, Palace Grounds]
"So you have chosen a personal disciple for yourself. Now I want to meet this disciple of yours," Scáthach said while walking with Karna towards the training field behind the palace.
Karna's expression was a mixture of pride and anticipation as he walked alongside Scáthach, the palace grounds sprawling before them.
The training field, bathed in the warm glow of the sun, lay ahead—a space where countless warriors had honed their skills and where he now intended to guide his new disciple, Eklavya.
"Indeed, Scáthach. Eklavya is an individual with incredible potential and determination," Karna replied, his gaze focused on the training field. "I believe that with proper guidance, he can become a skilled archer and a worthy practitioner of the art."
Scáthach nodded in understanding. "It's a noble endeavour to take someone under your wing and help them unlock their true potential. Your role as a mentor carries great responsibility."
Karna's expression turned thoughtful as he considered Scáthach's words. "You're right, Scáthach. Being a mentor is more than just teaching techniques—it's about instilling values, fostering discipline, and guiding one's journey toward self-discovery."
As they reached the training field, Karna's eyes scanned the area, noting the targets, training dummies, and the open expanse where warriors often sparred. The field was empty at the moment, awaiting the presence of its new student.
"I'm looking forward to meeting Eklavya," Scáthach said, her voice carrying genuine interest. "Observing his training firsthand will give me a sense of the kind of mentor you are."
Karna smiled warmly at Scáthach's curiosity. "I appreciate your interest, Scáthach. Eklavya's journey is just beginning, and I intend to support him every step of the way."
At that moment, they saw a figure approaching—a young boy with a tribal outfit and a determined expression.
Eklavya's eyes were fixed on the training field ahead, his anticipation evident in the way he held himself.
"Eklavya," Karna called out with a welcoming smile.
Eklavya turned toward the voice, and his face lit up with a mixture of excitement and respect. "Your Excellen—"
"Gurudev!" Eklavya corrected himself with a touch of enthusiasm and reverence, his voice filled with both eagerness and honour.
Karna approached Eklavya with Scáthach by his side, their footsteps echoing across the training field. The sun's gentle rays cast a warm glow over the scene, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and possibility.
"Eklavya," Karna began, "I'd like you to meet someone who holds a great deal of wisdom and experience in the world of combat and training. This is Scáthach, a renowned warrior and teacher."
Eklavya's eyes widened as he looked at Scáthach, a mixture of surprise and respect evident in his gaze. He bowed respectfully before her. "It's an honour to meet you, Lady Scáthach."
Scáthach nodded in acknowledgement, her gaze assessing Eklavya. "The honour is mine, Eklavya. Karna has spoken highly of you and your potential."
"Guruji, I mean Gurudev," Eklavya addressed Karna once again, "I am truly grateful for this opportunity. Your belief in me has given me new purpose and determination."
"Your archery is at least peak master level which is good at your age."
[You were Grandmaster level~ you can be called "Monstrous" then~~~]
Karna's smile shifted for one second at Artemis's comment.
Karna said. "Very well, Eklavya. Let's begin your training. We'll start with assessing your current skills, and from there, we'll build a structured plan for your development."
With that, the training session commenced. Karna guided Eklavya through various exercises, evaluating his form, technique, and precision. Scáthach observed closely, her experienced eye noting both strengths and areas for improvement.
As the training progressed, Eklavya's determination shone through. He absorbed Karna's instructions with eagerness, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt. Karna's guidance was gentle yet firm, encouraging Eklavya to challenge himself and refine his skills.
Scáthach interjected at times, offering insights and suggestions that added depth to Eklavya's training. Her expertise and unique perspective enriched the experience, and Eklavya absorbed every piece of advice with reverence.
Time seemed to flow seamlessly as the training continued, the sun's position in the sky shifting gradually. Eklavya's dedication was unwavering, his determination evident in the sweat on his brow and the intensity in his gaze.
As the training session neared its end, Karna nodded in satisfaction. "You've made impressive progress today, Eklavya. Your willingness to learn and your dedication to improving are commendable."
Eklavya's breath was slightly laboured, but his smile was one of genuine accomplishment. "Thank you, Gurudev. I'm grateful for your guidance and for the opportunity to learn under your tutelage."
Scáthach's voice held a note of approval as she added, "Continue to practice with diligence, Eklavya. Each step you take on this journey will contribute to your growth."
Eklavya bowed respectfully to Scáthach once again. "I am honoured to receive your guidance as well, Lady Scáthach. Your presence is a source of inspiration."
Scáthach offered Eklavya a nod of acknowledgement. "Remember, Eklavya, the path of mastery is not always easy. It requires dedication, patience, and a willingness to embrace challenges."
As the training field bathed in the warm hues of the setting sun, a sense of camaraderie and purpose filled the air. Karna, Eklavya, and Scáthach stood together, united by a shared commitment to the pursuit of excellence.
"Gurudev, Lady Scáthach," Eklavya began, his voice sincere, "I have one more question, if I may."
"Of course, Eklavya," Karna responded.
Eklavya's gaze was focused, his expression determined. "I come from a tribal village, and our way of life and customs are different from those in the city. As I undergo this training and become a disciple, should I strive to leave behind my heritage and fully immerse myself in the ways of the city?"
Karna's eyes held a sense of understanding as he considered Eklavya's question. It was a question of identity and belonging, a matter close to Eklavya's heart.
"Eklavya," Karna began, his voice gentle yet resolute, "your heritage is a part of you, and it shapes the person you are. Your background is not something to be discarded—it's something to be embraced and celebrated."
Scáthach's gaze was keen as she listened to Karna's response.
Karna continued, "As you learn and grow, you will naturally integrate new experiences and knowledge into your identity. However, your roots and the values you hold dear should remain a foundation that guides you."
Eklavya's expression softened as he absorbed Karna's words. "Thank you, Gurudev. Your words reassure me and give me a sense of clarity."
Scáthach's smile was faint but genuine as she added, "Eklavya, your heritage is your strength. It's what sets you apart and brings a unique perspective to your journey."
....
Karna was walking in the hallways of the palace moving towards his chamber, when suddenly Krishna came from around the corner.
"Ah, Bhrata Karna," Krishna greeted with a smile, his presence exuding an air of calm and intrigue. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything."
Karna's eyes met Krishna's, and he shook his head. "Not at all, Krishna. I was just heading to my chamber."
"Well, I just wanted to inform you that, Me and Bhrata Balram will be returning to Vrindavan."
"RETURNING TO VRINDAVAN!"
