Pushing the new points aside, whatever will it be used for, Elias planned on continuing the tutorial. Maybe, he will earn more of this 'Knowledge Point', and learn what it is actually used for.
He walked straight ahead, passing through the door with 'Advanced Combat' above it.
As he passed through, a humanoid figure appeared in front of him. Followed by a screen.
[In Advanced Combat, players will be introduced to different mechanics that are important in-game combat.]
A green bar appeared in front of him, along with a screen filled with line of text.
[STAMINA
Stamina is how much players can do an action before stopping (from exhaustion). Different actions consume different rates of stamina. (Swimming > Running > Walking)
Reminder: Similar to Vitality, Stamina will not be shown to the players. Instead, players will feel a similar sensation to exhaustion in life before they stopped. Make sure to not overexert oneself, or players will suffer from it.]
'So, I need to watch out or I will be killed because I cannot move all of a sudden.'
[Please look at the enemy.]
Elias did just that, but not without question. Thankfully, the answer soon appeared in front of him. Literally.

[OBSERVATION
Observation is how well you can discern characteristics, abilities and capabilities of the target of observation and shown in the form of an interface. Used in combat and non-combat scenarios. Observation scaled with Intelligence.
Reminder: Observation can only discern what players have seen. If the players observe the target for long enough, more information will appear, as long as targets showcase their abilities or show sufficient clues to what their abilities are.]
"Wow, the game mimics real life really well. Maybe a bit too much." Elias couldn't help but mutter. Instead of Appraisal skill in isekai anime that give every information with a glance, the players need to do real time (game time will be more accurate) to observe their enemies before finding a weak spot.
"Though, why do their abilities have letters instead of numbers?" He couldn't help but ask out loud.
Receiving no answer from the system guide, Elias sighed, even though he expected it to do so. It was something he noticed. The guide will tell him the basic but the more advanced knowledge, he needed to experiment and try it out. Though apparently, ability ratings of his opponents were classified as advanced knowledge.
'Well no point in playing the guessing games with limited information.' Elias took a step forward, as a screen appeared.
[Start combat: YES/NO]
He did not hesitate to press yes. Instantly, the Human Puppet went from slumping, to straightening its body. Its eyes, a simple black bead, turned red, adding more factor to the uncanny valley.
Elias did not let the freakiness took him by surprise. He charged at the Human Puppet, before leaping to the side, easily dodging its blow while delivering a glancing strike on its torso.
The Human Puppet leaped back, clenched its fist before jumping towards him. Elias dodged again, before striking at its legs this time.
The Human Puppet staggered, before standing in a way that suggested limp. Elias blinked at the human-like action, even wondering if he was just seeing things, as the Human Puppet stopped acting like it was limping a few seconds after.
'Let's test this some more.'
This time, Elias went on the offense, slashing at the Human Puppet in quick succession. With no experience in sword fighting, Elias decided the best way was to act logically.
Never overextended. Try to keep an eye on his opponent while moving, the latter done as minimally as possible. And most important of all, never, ever, try to copy techniques shown in the movies. Either they will not work in real life; choreography done to awe the audience, or require ones to have proper knowledge and training to even perform it.
Elias dodged another blow, his thoughts racing as he planned his next course of action.
'Should I see if blocking the attack will damage the Puppet or not?' the young man attempted that. When the Human Puppet punched him, Elias twisted his sword so the fist would hit the sharp edge.
When the fist made contact, he could see a slight dent on the Human Puppet's fist. However, it also resulted in him being pushed further away, almost making him fell on his butt.
'Let's not block then,' it is safer and he won't be losing his weapon if the Human Puppet is strong enough to break his sword with a punch at the right place.
As the fighting continued, Elias felt his body moving slower, his breathing getting heavier.
'This must be because my Stamina is low.' he assumed. Fortunately, the sign was rather obvious so he could remedy the fact. Going for a swift retreat, Elias took a few steps back, hoping to not be attacked for a few seconds so he can regain his Stamina.
Unfortunately, the Human Puppet followed him. Fortunately, the Human Puppet also moved slower, probably running out of Stamina as well. For a second, Elias thought of going on the offensive, before removing the thought as fast as it came.
'I should regain my Stamina first before going on the offensive. Don't want to suddenly stopped moving if my Stamina bar went empty.

For the next 10 minutes, Elias moved methodically. Dodging by twisting his body if possible. If not, take a few steps back to ensure he will not be pummeled. Perform quick jabs and swings. Each aimed for the limbs, and if there were chances, the torso.
Never did he try to parry. If the Human Puppet used a sword, he likely needed to do that. As now, it used its entire body, with main focus on arms and fists. A slash can be parried. A punch, or thrust by a sword, he is not experienced enough to do such a thing in real-life combat.
The closest thing to a parry he did would be striking the joints of the arms to push it away from him.
As Elias continued this grind, the Human Puppet stopped. Seconds later, he felt something stopping him, like he was being held in place by invisible walls.
