Chapter 1 - Chapter 1- The School

Cars pulled into the driveway, people ran to class, boys ran on the track, kids played on the playground, people ate food and played games.

In the classroom, there was a lonely girl in the corner named Gorya. She was doing her homework until... "Hi, I'm Hana!" A girl sat opposite her. "I've just moved here from the US." she said. Gorya put on a sad face. "What's wrong?" asked Hana.

"Nothing, my name is Gorya." she replied.

Then Hana asked Gorya why she was doing her homework alone. "I'm on an athletic scholarship here, I have to pay attention to class than anyone else, plus I don't how to talk to anyone else here." Hana simply asked why. "You see those 3 girls over there?"

"Yeah" said Hana.

"They like to talk about expensive bags that they bought or which country will they go in the summer." Then Gorya said, "For an international school, only rich kids come here, there are not many students on a scholarship like me." Then Hana just nodded. "It's fine if you want to leave and talk to someone else, I'm quite boring." Gorya recommended. Then she started doing her homework again. Hana got up to leave which Gorya knew was going to happen.

After a while, Hana came back and offered Gorya a piece of food made by herself. "I want to be your friend, Gorya." Hana confidently said. Gorya blushed sweetly and thanked her. "And those girls seem kind of mean anyways." Hana whispered into Goryas' ear." They both giggled and laughed.

Then Hana asked Gorya some tips for a new student like her. Gorya said, "You don't know anything about this school do you?"

Hana confused stated, "Not really, I just know what the teacher told me." Then Gorya asked if Hana was bullied at her previous school. She denied. Gorya asked if she bullied anyone. Hana said no. "If you want to survive this school, you need to be on your guard first." Then Gorya said the bullying is severe.

"Bullying, in this age, at a school like this?" Hana asked in shock.

"The better, the safer the school seems, the more special it is."
