----

It was a normal evening, I just finished buying my groceries and returned to my house by my regular route. Suddenly, it started raining, heavy raindrops covered my phone's screen. I returned to the grocery shop to buy an umbrella.

On my way there, when I was waiting at the traffic light while looking at my phone, I heard a loud car horn.

I raised my head quickly, the only thing I saw was a very bright light. Afterward, I don't remember seeing anything. Time was blurry and I only heard loud sirens.

I didn't know it yet, but I was dead.

Time lost its meaning. I floated in silence until I opened my eyes. It was bright - I mean, I was bright. It was raining, and the sky was dark, yet I could see clearly two people - a male and a female - running. But the strange thing was that I was really small, in fact, my hands were tiny. I tried to move, to speak - but my voice was just a faint cry. My body wasn't mine anymore.

The woman was holding me, her bright golden hair was covering my head from the rain, and the man with blond hair, covered in heavy armor and holding a sword, was leading the way. I don't remember how much time passed. After a while, we stopped. The woman looked at me, smiling - she was so pretty. I thought to myself that I was very lucky to be carried by a woman like this, thus wondering the reason for it. The man started to do a strange sequence of movements with his hands, he looked crazy for a moment, but then sudden golden blazing particles of light flew from his hands quickly. It looked like a mirror, but it didn't have a reflection - it was only bright, way too bright. The man fell down, he looked very tired. It happened so fast, I was getting close to that weird mirror it felt like I was being sacrificed. She left me gently on the ground next to it, facing towards her. Shiny tears poured from her eyes, but she kept smiling. It was so bright, like light pouring into my eyes.

When I woke up, I was in someone else's arms - men in white robes with strange symbols on them. They took me to a nearby church.

That's where my story started.
