I start exploring the area, looking for food, when something catches my eye—a goblin wielding a wooden bat. Its red eyes lock on mine, and it charges straight at me.
Instinctively, I grab a rock from the ground and throw it. The rock hits the goblin squarely in the head, and it collapses.
A notification suddenly flashes before me:
[Level 1 → Level 2]
I open my attribute window. Four stats: Mana, Strength, Physique, and Speed. I have 15 points to spend. Without hesitation, I pour them all into Strength. Feeling stronger already, I continue walking cautiously.
Soon, more goblins appear. I dodge, strike, and fight them one by one. Each encounter teaches me something about this world—how to anticipate attacks, how to land precise hits, how to survive. Hours pass, and I grow more confident.
Then, I come across a massive goblin—it's much bigger than the others, with scars and a cruel glare. This must be the leader. I spot a bat nearby, dropped by a goblin I had just defeated, and grab it.
The leader swings its bat in a wide arc. I barely dodge. Then it launches a rapid barrage of attacks. One swing connects, breaking my arm. Pain explodes through me, and I stagger, tasting blood in my mouth.
I grit my teeth. I can't let it win. Dodging the next swing, I counterattack, hitting its leg. It howls in pain, trying to recover. I press the advantage, clobbering it in the head. Finally, it collapses.
A new notification appears:
[Level 15 → Attribute Points: 50]
I quickly distribute my points: 15 to Physique, 15 to Speed, 10 to Mana. A new skill unlocks:
Eagle Eye – Allows you to see the levels of other players. Does not work if they are too strong.
Satisfied, I take a deep breath and start walking again, searching for civilization. After an hour, I spot a kingdom in the distance. Relief floods me—I finally have a chance to heal and find food.
I rush toward the gates. Inside, people bustle about, merchants calling out, children running past. My broken arm throbs, reminding me of the battle.
I notice a small building with a sign: "First-time customers healed for free." I head inside, they fix up my arm and then I leave the building
Next, I spot a food stall. My stomach growls, but I stop. Money. I have none.
Looks like surviving this world is going to be harder than I thought.
I start looking for ways to earn money when something catches my eye. A man is handing out flyers:"Become a knight! Protect the kingdom from monsters and attacks from rival nations. Training begins tomorrow at the Town Hall. Not everyone will make it!"
I take the flyer and start training for tomorrow to become a knight
