Charles the old a United States veteran at the age of 30 his lieutenants Jeff John's ,Owen Williams and David Brown gave him this name because despite being very young when they first met at the age of 25 grey sideburns appeared on his otherwise smooth blonde hair
He was tall pale skinned with a neutral hue and stood at an impressive 6,5 feet tall an imposing giant to his soldiers yet showed clear muscle and flexibility his eyes were deep and a light shade of blue he wore green military pants a black belt brown leather jacket with a fur coated hoody specialised leather gloves and black heavy duty boots with a green shirt underneath
He was hard headed claiming the cold was nothing thanks to years of training the border takeover was swift his skill with a katana was well known his hand to hand combat prowess made the enemies moves seem scripted when he fought he could seamlessly switch between multiple weapons including a short dagger or dual wielding two 9milimeter pistils his aim perfection a supersoldier trained in the art of war for the times master of 9 martial arts
He was a deeply religious man so he kept his soldiers from the woman focused on gathering material securing the perimeter and the annihilation of all potential rebels and scouting the area the securing of the air space and building a safe base

16years had passed and Charles had two children a four year old girl and a 17 year old boy he spent his time teaching him self defense hunting skills he named the boy Zagreus and there mother named the girl Sophia
Zagreus saw his father treat everyone with kindness and even the Natives treated him like family he went to the same school as them participated in the same Celebrations as them at this point even the Natives were allowed to enlist in the cause as soldiers and factories were built funded by the Allied forces
It was the winter festival and the most extensive battle since the first ten years had begun rockets launched turning the skies into fireworks 9 nukes were launched in two days equating the record of the first 10 years the biggest forest on Earth was burning down something in the air signaled the war was reaching its climax
The distress caused marches The mainland sent a message to the people of the occupied lands a threat that if they did not aid them in breaching and taking back the territory they would be slaughtered aswell at the height of fear and panic the perimeter was breached
Charles soldiers turned against each other native against native non native against everyone else a mob with pitch forks ran up and where charging at Charles house he ordered the evacuation of his troops but for that to happen a portion of his troops had to stay behind
As he was about to make a final decision as he was comforting Samantha and crying Sophia an explosion rang in there household knocking him out for a split second he Quickly got back his balance as he instructed Zagreus to take Sophia who was unconscious and Samantha away using the backdoor to run into the snowy forest
In a split second Samantha Carried sophia and began to run her experience in athletics allowing her to cover a huge distance but her age and the comfort of her clothes including her lucidity at the time posed a great problem
Charles looked at Zagreus for the final time and exclaimed runn!!! With his remaining strength as he armed himself to the teeth with a pistil and katana and grenades strapped on himself
Zagreus followed his father's advise and ran arriving 3 meters behind his mother she explained that there was someone waiting for them with a car and everything would be alright
He heard 3 gunshots behind him coming from his former Home he felt pain betrayal but as tears streamed down his eyes all he could think is a man should not cry who's going to give them sophia mom confidence if I cry
Charles faced each man one by one in hand to hand knocking many of them out in one punch following up with drawing his sword and delivering bilateral slashes as the opponents increased he took out two pistols one for long range and the other close range as he named them ebony and ivory in honor of an old game character he used to play as he made a slow retreat out throw some grenades aswell
Only for him to turn his back and as a shot fired close to his heart he slowly stumbled to the ground he knew this day would come his chickens had come to roost he lived by the sword and no matter how much he tried to justify it he would die by the sword as a last ditch effort off pure instinct he threw one last grenade
As Zagreus ran they reached a frozen lake two shots were fired as if they were animals being hunted his eyes blood red as he forced himself on the floor of the frozen ice
Samantha cried out she's dead as two more shots were fired piercing her throught a limb Zagreus without words fell to his knees and cursed
Why God was there a God did he exist was this retribution to the family he was born into
