Chapter 19 - Megumi Fushiguro: A Domain Expansion?

Weak. That's how I feel right now. Very weak.

My back was bleeding heavily. This piece of shit right in front of me appeared out of nowhere and sliced me up. I barely escaped that fight with that strange guy, who then killed himself.

Now this blonde piece of shit with a bruised face has arrived.

I collapsed to the cold, hard ground, panting heavily. I can't move forward. I don't have the strength anymore...

Only one reasonable option left.

(In all of sorcerer history, there's never been anyone who managed to subjugate this one.)I thought as all of my remaining cursed energy coalesced all around me. This blonde one is smart; he realized what I was about to do.

But it's too late, he's too far back since he took his sweet own time to play with me.

"Sacred treasure swing and ring, ring."

I could feel a presence forming behind me, an overwhelming presence that felt like Sukuna breathing down my neck or an especially miffed Gojo.

"Eight Grip Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga."

The presence behind me slowly woke into action. I don't have much time left. I recalled my promise to Yuji; we were supposed to meet later. A painful pang appeared within my chest.

I could only mutter a quick, silent apology to him.

That blonde guy was now terrified, eyes twitching and legs shaking. He brought this to himself. Should've killed me earlier then.

"Hey, you damn bastard!" I called him out. He was grinding his teeth now, furious and seething.

"I'll be dying first. Give it your best shot!" *Wham!* I felt something heavy, then nothing.

...

...

...

I woke up to the buzzing sound of an old ceiling light. The moment I opened my eyes, it instantly ached. Partly because my head was aching like crazy, and partly because of the environment that I was in.

It seemed like I was in an office that was still under-construction. I slowly rose, using the wall behind and beside me as a crutch to stand up. My body was still in pain, but it felt like the severity had passed; only recuperation remains.

I used the wall beside me to stand up and walk, taking slow and careful steps. I then came to a crossroads; there were paths in front of me, to the left, and to the right. The hallways were long, and they all had a door at the end.

I picked the hallway in front of me. With some time and effort, I reached the end of the hallway and opened it. I find myself in some wide, spacious room with a bed at the end of it.

There were also other pieces of furniture, like a chair and a table, but they were all scattered around. Whatever, the rest will have to be investigated later. I still feel weak; a rest may help...

I lay on the bed, feeling the lull of sleep despite the pain.

...

...

...

I woke up this time, and it felt like my body was now manageable. It still hurts, and I think I've suffered a cracked rib. I don't have my phone with me; I must have dropped it off somewhere.

Whatever, I can still manage.

I activated the rabbit escape technique, almost filling the whole room with the rabbits. I then ordered them to scout ahead. It's not their primary job, but they're the most numerous and can cover a lot of ground.

The rabbits leaped away from me, scouting the whole area. I felt the whole room shake as the walls produced a gleaming green sheen. I didn't even bother to reach for the sheen, thinking that it might be dangerous.

The shaking then disappeared after several seconds. I slowly collapsed into bed again. The bed was relatively light, and so was the foam.

I ordered my rabbits to remove the foam from the bed, and they all did it with amazing bunny efficiency. One of them even stood up and began directing the others.

I then lay on the foam as the several dozen bunnies beneath it lifted it and carried me away. I felt the pull of sleep again, but this time I focused and steadied my breathing. The rabbit with the symbol joined me, as if it were guarding me.

Thank you...

With my army of rabbits carrying the foam with me. We explored whatever this place was. It didn't take long for me to realize that this place was endless.

Limitless...

A domain, this has to be a domain. Or the work of a cursed spirit. Maybe a spirit representing the fear of the infinite? I can only guess for now.

...

...

...

Five hours have passed, and I still haven't found the exit. My rabbits have had no luck either. I ate one of the three candy bars in my pocket. I was going to give Itadori a half-eaten one later on, but there's no time for being generous right now.

I don't think I'll find the exit anytime soon. I need to regain my strength as soon as possible. I also need some water.

The rabbits ahead of me opened another door, this one led to nowhere, but there was something inside the room. A flashlight.

I've never seen a model like this for quite some time. This must be from the early 2000s or something. Whatever, I should keep it. My rabbits continue exploring while I steadied my breathing again.

My chest now hurts like hell. There was a purple bruise on my chest. I think I really cracked a rib. I need medical help as soon as possible.

Deep breaths...

If only I knew how to use the reversed cursed technique. "Hyaah!" "Hyui!" I synchronized my breathing after Doc Shoko explained the Reversed Curse Technique. Gojo learned it on the spot because of a dire condition; I could do it too with all these conditions.

"Hyaah!" "Hyui!" I don't understand it, but I forced myself. I have to be somewhere else, there are still some people who needs my help. I want to get out of here. "Hyaah!" "Hyui!"
