Nora's POV
The room tilts and swirls around me, though I'm not entirely sure if it's from the explosive climax that just rocked through my body or the bottle and a half of wine I've consumed tonight. Maybe both.
James lifts his head from between my thighs, his hands spreading across my stomach possessively. We're tangled in my bed sheets after our second round tonight, and I meant every word when I told him I wanted him to take me until dawn broke.
The aftershocks still pulse through my core, leaving me breathless and dizzy. My head lolls to the side as I gasp for air. James presses soft kisses along my inner thigh, and when I try to shift my leg, it feels like jelly. I'm amazed I remember how to function at all.
He trails kisses up my body until he reaches my neck. His fangs have extended, pressing against my skin without breaking it. I open my mouth to ask if he needs to feed, but no words emerge.
"Breathe, my love."
