Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Progenitor Devil Transformation

"You're a Devil King?"

Ddraig sounded mildly surprised before sneering. "I didn't expect the Underworld to produce an unfamiliar powerhouse like you while I slumbered."

"But even if you're a Devil King—so what?"

His voice echoed with absolute confidence.

As one of the legendary Heavenly Dragons, ordinary Devil Kings meant nothing to him.

Next instant, Ddraig struck.

He opened his massive maw, vast power gathering within.

Hum!

Brilliant light flared, forming a pillar of magic that engulfed Kaiser.

"Hmph!"

Kaiser snorted coldly. A black Devil's Gun materialized in his hand, raised slightly.

Devil's Gun: Infinite Lightning.

In a flash, the crimson flames filling the realm vanished, replaced by endless blue radiance.

Under Ddraig's gaze, Kaiser unleashed thousands of lightning strikes in a single motion.

The sky before the dragon turned into an ocean of thunder, swallowing the magic pillar whole.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Deafening explosions merged into a symphony.

Their colliding forces detonated like countless missiles at the epicenter.

Immense shockwaves rolled outward, a cataclysmic surge sweeping every direction.

"How did you do that?"

Ddraig's eyes widened, voice laced with disbelief.

In that instant, the devil had cast thousands of lightning spells.

Never mind the casting method—those were supermagic spells.

Even transcendents beyond Devil Kings would exhaust their magic power.

Yet this one seemed unaffected?

Kaiser merely stared coldly.

[Infinite Magic Power] + [Devil's Gun].

Together, utterly unreasonable.

"No answer? Doesn't matter."

"Defeating me with just that is a fool's dream."

Ddraig roared, colossal body diving toward Kaiser.

At the same moment, Kaiser moved.

Absolute Zero!

Hum!

Freezing chill spread; the fiery realm turned to ice and snow.

Ddraig's pupils contracted, visible frost coating his crimson scales.

"This cold…"

His expression shifted. Power erupted, shattering the frost.

But that brief delay proved fatal.

"Absolute Zero: Slash."

An ice sword appeared in Kaiser's hand, slashing toward Ddraig.

Swish!

A vast ice-blue slash cleaved the void.

Everything in its path seemed to halt, time itself frozen.

The slash struck Ddraig's body, erupting in overwhelming cold.

The sky blazed white as daylight; Ddraig's form became an ice sculpture.

Boom!

He plummeted like a meteor, crashing to the ground.

Crack! Crack!

Cracks spiderwebbed across the ice.

The draconic sculpture exploded.

Ddraig, battered but largely unharmed, roared.

"As expected of a Heavenly Dragon—not so easily felled," Kaiser murmured. "Still too weak."

The level gap was vast.

Against an equal, that combo would've left nothing.

"Hahaha! Devil, you've truly excited me," Ddraig laughed. "A mere Devil King bringing me such joy."

"Let's continue…"

He opened his maw again.

A grand magic pillar descended.

Power similar to before, yet fundamentally different.

Now infused with penetration—the Red Dragon Emperor's ability to pierce any defense.

Facing it, Kaiser frowned, then relaxed.

"Fine. Time to test that."

"Progenitor Devil Transformation."

As the words left his mouth, terrifying pressure erupted like a tsunami.

His magic power turned pitch black, shattering everything around him.

Immense magic coalesced into an indescribable black sea, purging all flames from the space.

Silently, the descending pillar halted, exploding apart.

"…"

Ddraig's pupils shrank, face paling.

What had happened to the devil? Mere magic power shattered his attack?

"This is the Progenitor Devil's power. Quite the peculiar feeling."

Kaiser's voice rang out.

His body visibly changed.

Upper clothing vanished, replaced by black intricate patterns.

Whites of his eyes blackened; irises turned gold, leaving only a black slit pupil.

His devil wings expanded infinitely, composed of countless blades; a long, razor-sharp tail emerged.

"You… you're no devil. What are you?"

Ddraig's face twisted completely.

Kaiser's aura reached a realm beyond comprehension.

Not mere power difference—existential disparity.

Unprecedented sensation.

Even the Dragon Gods paled in comparison.

Instinctively, his soul quivered, urging submission and worship.
