Inside the dark cockpit, Luca, whose injuries had fully healed, was not in a hurry to figure out how to escape.
Not because leaving the protection of the cockpit would expose him to radiation.
Nor because the radioactive rain outside disrupted electromagnetic signals, making it impossible to contact the outside world without the mech's high-power transmitter.
But because when the [Sweet Capture] mechanical arm on his right elbow exploded due to the forced activation of "Greater Healing," the remaining small connector piece began to glow white, becoming a new "Core Component."
Yes, the connector piece attached to Luca's elbow.
Technically, this piece wasn't part of the original mechanical arm. It was an auxiliary device to fix the arm onto the elbow stump, integrating a grapple launcher and some neural connection/signal conversion functions.
The white mechanical arm itself was the main body of [Sweet Capture].
Luca had studied these two parts separately before but never discovered that one part could glow independently and become a new "Core Component."
Unexpectedly, after [Sweet Capture] exploded, this remaining connector brought up a brand-new Cheat System panel.

Looking at the "Friendly Reminder" on the new panel, Luca rubbed his chin in thought.
The panel shouldn't lie to me, right? But what's in the Devil May Cry world? Learning how to kill demons?
For Luca, who had only heard of the game but never played it, he had no idea what other "items" besides mechanical arms he could learn to craft from that world.
Fortunately, based on the description, this mechanical arm named [Overture] didn't seem too powerful.
With Luca's current technology, he could replicate most of it.
Even if he exploded it later and didn't get a new synthesis panel, the loss wouldn't hurt too much.
In contrast, an arm like [Sweet Capture] with healing abilities was essentially an extra life insurance.

After reviewing the new item panel, Luca stopped worrying about the future and refocused on how to leave.
The [Boxer Mech] was completely dead. Hiding in the sealed cockpit protected him from most radiation, but without power, staying here long-term was no different from waiting for death.
Most importantly, Luca wasn't sure how much time had passed since the nuclear explosion.
Signal attenuation caused by radioactive rain and fallout clouds prevented him from contacting the outside world.
It seemed Luca had no better option than waiting for rescue.

A series of thud thud thud thud knocking sounds came from outside the cockpit.

Fourth Haro, remotely controlled by Hakimi, arrived almost simultaneously with Tony's three suits.
With Fourth Haro as a relay, Luca managed to establish a weak signal connection with the outside world even within the radiation zone.
Although the mech was still dead, using Aurantius Haro as the host and the [Tracking Glasses] as the display interface, he finally caught up with the situation.
First, he called home. The chaos in New York hadn't affected them. Although the villa took a missile from Hydra, no one was hurt.
Then, Luca checked the news while getting updates from Tony.
However, the situation in the US was even more chaotic than expected.
Leaving aside the nuked Washington D.C. and the New York ravaged by otherworld villains...
Other states weren't smooth sailing either.
Military mutinies, assassinations of state officials, civilian riots, and Hydra cells going back underground to fan the flames—America was currently a mess of demons dancing wildly.
Conversely, New York, one of the two epicenters, seemed eerily calm after dealing with the parallel world visitors.
"SHIELD handled all those otherworld escapees in New York?"
Looking at the sparse news reports and viral videos online, Luca was surprised that Nick Fury suppressed the entire New York chaos with just an old Helicarrier.
However, hearing this question, Tony had a strange expression.
"Uh, the Black Egg found a shiny, sparkly helper from somewhere. She'll be here soon. You should be able to meet her."
