Nobody knows how universe was created. Some say it's cosmic blast, other say it's the power of Gods.
If so, then one question must arise -
'If gods created universe who created them?'
-------
Well, that's something to be answered in the future

'Oh! It's morning'
A boy woke up and turned his head right. On the right side of the bed there was a small box-like structure topped by a clock. The box was two-storey wardrobe. The color of the wardrobe had worn off as previously yellow, now it was brown with yellow patches.
The lower storey was locked with a huge lock as if to hide something precious.
The upper storey however, was open with its door hanging seemingly connected by a thin cloth rope where a small pile of books was kept neatly.
On top of the drawer was a small alarm clock, ringing, its long arm pointed at 0 and short at 5. The drawer was balanced by stones at the wardrobe was unstable.
The boy extended his hand toward the clock and touched the top of the clock lightly stopping the sound.
Haaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiii…
The boy yawned stretching both his hands and legs. The boy was having Subtle headache but without thinking much he woke up from his bed and arranged his bed, before reaching for his door
Creakkkk
The old, molded door creaked while opening. Suddenly, light hit his eyes and the boy squinted. The light was from the sun which was protruding from behind a hill. The sunlight was orange and gave pleasant warmth. The boy was standing in front of the house.
The house, rather old, was almost under the brink of destruction. The house's entire structure was made up of wood, stone, mud and hay. The house was two storey facing east.
The lower floor had one rectangular window on the left side which was currently covered by a curtain hanging across to the bed darkening the entire floor. The door, however, was infront of the house facing east.
Fighting and kitchen equipment's were hung in nails protruding from a wooden pillar near the left side of the bed. The remaining two pillars, one further left near door and other in middle were hanging umbrellas and some plastics containing some metal like substances respectively. Below the window was stove made of clay, containing ash and small chunks of coal, still burning red.
The upper floor, however, was glimmering, through a round window just above the window below. It was partially filled with grains and some vegetables leaving remaining space empty.
From the looks alone, one could decipher it as a shed.
After standing for a while the boy walked towards the well little far from the house.
After reaching the well, he pulled the water with the help of bucket tied with rope previously, hung near a wooden stake driven into the ground.
After bathing, he went inside the house to prepare breakfast.
Knock Knock ….
Leaving his half-cooked meal, he walked toward the door.
creakkk
There a human shadow was blocking the sunlight.
Despite the black shadow, a fair skinned woman, in her 60's, big white eyes covered by a pair of round glasses, long nose and wide mouth, wrinkled, swollen like cheeks with small golden earring on one of her ears, was standing.
She was 150 cm tall, plump and her white unbound hair was touching her elbow. She was wearing saggy maid dress hidden by tattered white apron, both stained with flour and oil. Her feet, however, were covered by clean white cloth shoes.
She was carrying small loaf of bread in one hand and a small wooden bowl on the other. Inside the bowl, contain pre-cooked meat, dissipating steam.
"Good morning, Kilbert" the women spoke first. Despite her age her voice sounded young.
"Good morning, Anna" the boy replied in coarse voice.
The women name was Anna; the boy's name was Kilbert.
Anna raised her eyes smiling, staring at Kilbert who was wearing black tattered pajama.
Kilbert was an average-looking boy with average height of 170 cm, black hair, black eyes and skinny body. His body, more tanned than Anna, was covered with many small scars.
But more than anything his eyes were as soulless as it gets. Kilbert neither feels anything nor he can relay his feelings.
"Here, your launch" Anna extended both her hand.
Kilbert stared at her briefly.
"Why are you giving me your lunch?" Kilbert asked coldly.
"Aren't you leaving for the capital today? It's your gift" Anna quickly responded.
Seeing Kilbert, Anna felt sad.
"Don't worry, I have enough to feed myself through-out the year." As if knowing what Kilbert might ask, Anna answered on her own.
Even though she was lying, she acted naturally.
"Thank You" Kilbert extended his hand and accepted his gift. To him it did not matter whether it was acting or not.
Anna knew that thank you was void of emotion but she happily accepted.
Here in Sera village, the countryside of Enret Kingdom, growing crops was difficult. And now drought has made it more difficult. Anna was one of the 200 residents of Sera village fighting for food.
Kilbert house was two hours away from the village connected only by a small road between the hills. Kilbert house stood alone in the forest.
"Please come inside, breakfast is almost ready." Kilbert gestured his hand directing her to enter.
Anna however, looked inside her apron pocket and took out a small bracelet. The bracelet was rusty but treasured by Anna as it was carefully covered by an expensive piece of cloth. She put the bracelet inside the pocket of his pajama.
"Best Of Luck for your exam" Anna knew, Kilbert was heading toward the capital today for the upcoming entrance exam in the continent number one academy.
With those words Anna walked along the road between the hills and after some time vanished in the woods as Anna also have to work to eat. Here time was cruel to everyone.
Kilbert was an orphan. When he first came to this village at age 10, he was hated for his scars and his soulless eyes. Due to this, he made his home inside the forest and never went back to the village. From an early age, he farmed crops himself, but when the crops were destroyed, he hunted animals.
During the first year of his stay, he met Anna who was being attacked by a small boar monster and saved her. Since then, Anna visited him twice every month. But no matter how many times Anna visited Kilbert didn't change. Anna viewed Kilbert as her grandson and was always saddened by his state, but her determination was not to be laughed at.
She never knew the reason, for he was like this ever since she knew him.
Even though Anna tried to take Kilbert back to village for treatment, he never came. The bracelet was her last attempt as she had added some magic in this bracelet to enhance one's emotion. This cost her half her earned property but that didn't matter to her.
Currently Kilbert is 13 years old.
After eating his breakfast and the lunch given by Anna, Kilbert packed all his equipment's, food stocks and tied his one and only weapon, sword, in his waist. The sword was a regular sword which had lost its sharpness.
He changed his pajama with a short brown pant and white full-sleeved shirt with a large black robe covering both his face and body. All shirt, pant and robe were patched all over. Even though, it was his best dress he currently owns.
He kept Anna's gift and some money which he had collected throughout those years in his backpack hidden pocket. He used to hide that money in the lower compartment of the wardrobe along with shiny golden necklace with emerald attached to it not because he thought them as precious, but Anna persuaded him.
He doesn't know where this necklace came from as it was already with him as long as he can remember.
He wore the necklace, hiding it behind his shirt and the robe as directed by Anna.
When the clock's long arm pointed 0 and short arm 8. Kilbert finally left his home embarking on his new lifelong journey.
[Now what adventures are waiting for him]
