Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Early Childhood and the Beginning of Initial Training

The years began to pass slowly, and the small hut that had witnessed the birth of the two children was now filled with movement and quiet laughter, despite the shadows that still lingered from the cracks in the earth around the village. Sultan, now five years old, moved lightly between the daylight and the shadows of the walls, his large eyes shining with curiosity and intelligence. The warmth and cold that coursed through his body had begun to balance in a strange, almost deliberate way.

Khalid, his half-brother, the same age, was calmer, observing every movement, every heartbeat, every flicker of light, as if the shadows surrounding him were starting to respond to his presence. He had not yet spoken, but his dark eyes conveyed a mysterious awareness, and suddenly, his small movements began to influence the surroundings: a gentle breeze stirred, shadows seeped from the corners of the walls, as if reflecting a power not yet revealed.

Saqr, the protective father, sat on the ground, watching the children, his heart heavy with love and fear. Every movement, every glance, reminded him of the early price he had paid: the loss of his wife, the responsibility for two children carrying the fate of the world in their tiny hands. Yet, the first lessons were beginning now: teaching Sultan how to maintain balance between warmth and cold, how to control his body to start understanding the energy within him.

Sheikh Abdulrahman sat beside them, observing with eyes full of wisdom:

"Children… the fire, water, air, and earth within you… they are not mere forces, but tests of spirit and heart… you will learn to control them, or they will control you."

Sultan touched a small sphere of water gathered in his hands, and it froze between his fingers. His early awareness began to grasp the meaning of focus. Khalid, beside him, had not moved anything yet, but the shadows around him danced, trying to express him—a first hint of a power to be revealed later, but already forming in his presence.

Their play was not mere amusement, but the first exercise of their energies. Every laugh, every fall, every small movement strengthened the bond between the brothers, helping them balance light and shadow, strength and emotion.

Outside the hut, the village slowly returned to its daily life, yet the earth had not forgotten the Shift, and the winds still whispered distant voices. In these small moments, the children trained unknowingly; every movement, every gesture, planted seeds of power and prophecy.

Saqr whispered to himself as he touched the children's foreheads:

"O Allah, make them strong… keep their hearts steady… unite spirit and shadow… I will not let any evil touch them."

The children, despite their young age, felt the growing connection. Sultan sensed the shadow adapting to Khalid's presence beside him, and Khalid felt warmth and safety for the first time since his birth, as if they completed each other. This was the first seed of a mysterious, instinctive understanding—a bond that would accompany them throughout their journey.

Sheikh Abdulrahman smiled gently, then whispered:

"Now, children, you have learned the first lesson: true power is not in what resides within your body, but in what you can control in your heart, mind, and spirit… and in your devotion to those you love."

As the sun began to rise and the mist cleared, it became clear that these small moments would form the foundation for everything to come: the balance of the elements, the emergence of their powers, and the beginning of the path toward prophecy.

The hut, the earth, and the sky all bore witness to the true beginning of acquired energy and early training—the beginning of the journey of Sultan and Khalid, the brothers who would change the world, with every small step upon the soil of their homeland.
