Raymond's POV
I could see her face slowly turning red, and for a brief moment, I wondered if I truly had that much of an effect on her. Ever since the day I met her, she had been like this, losing herself whenever her eyes lingered on me for too long. If I didn't already know how feisty, stubborn, and troublesome she could be, I might have thought she had a harmless crush on me.
I shook my head lightly, clearing the thought away, and finally spoke.
My eyes swept over her body calmly, from head to toe. She looked cute in the little dress she wore, simple yet flattering, clinging to her curves just enough. My gaze lingered for a second too long on her exposed legs, but I decided not to comment on that, for now.
"Come in," I said dryly as I opened the door wider for her.
Sullivan stepped in behind her, carrying her bags like a dutiful assistant. He looked unfazed, as usual.
"Thank you," she said softly, her voice slightly tense.
