Chapter 104: The Mighty, Dominant Warship
Before them loomed a massive golden dragon, its jaws gaping wide at them, its mouth dark and bottomless, radiating an endless, icy glow.
The enormous dragon's body coiled around the giant ship, making the entire vessel exude an overwhelming aura of majesty and dominance.
The warship stood fifteen meters tall, two hundred meters long, and fifty meters wide. Square-shaped seams lined its silver steel hull, yet not a single cannon barrel could be seen.
"Even though I knew it was made of steel, I still can't help being stunned. Are you sure this monster can actually sail on the sea?"
Crocodile exhaled a puff of smoke and gave him a wry look.
"Just try it and see."
A faint grin lifted the corner of Jiang Qize's mouth.
"Let's go up."
They approached the side of the ship, stopping at the position of one of the dragon's claws.
Click!
The golden claw opened a hatch, revealing a luxurious staircase.
As Jiang Qize put it, if you're going to do something, either don't do it at all, or do it perfectly.
One by one, they ascended the stairs.
The staircase spiraled upward.
At the top, a deck covered in bright green grass came into view. Several trees had been planted across the vast deck, and there was even a swimming pool.
It couldn't be helped—the deck was simply too large. It could easily hold five thousand people. Without adding some recreational facilities, it would look completely empty.
"This…"
Seeing the deck, Crocodile was already cursing in his heart. This was a ship? Who would dare build a ship like this?!
"Ba Wang, let's try taking her out to sea," Jiang Qize said after surveying the surroundings with satisfaction.
"Yes."
Ba Wang nodded, then headed to the control console and pressed his hand down on it.
A ship's wheel rose up, accompanied by several buttons.
He pressed one of them.
Kakaka…
A soft mechanical sound followed.
Then the rear of the ship opened, revealing a massive silver iron circle. Light began gathering across its surface, more and more, condensing into a concentrated orb of energy. A terrifying pressure radiated from the glowing mass.
Buzz!!!
The orb blasted outward, a visible shockwave rippling through the air.
The overwhelming thrust pushed the Dragonflame forward.
Even on sand, it moved.
Boom!
In the next instant, the Dragonflame shot forward, smashing straight through the flimsy base gate and bursting into the sea not far ahead.
Buzz!!
Water surged upward, spraying dozens of meters high and forming a curtain of mist.
Ba Wang watched calmly, then tapped two more buttons.
Buzz!
A powerful gust erupted around the ship, forming a half-dome wind barrier that kept the falling seawater from landing on the deck.
Crocodile stared, completely dumbfounded. At this point, he felt numb.
Kacha kakka…
The grinding of gears sounded again.
A moment later, massive cannon barrels extended one after another from the ship's walls, all aiming toward the surrounding sea.
Ba Wang looked toward Jiang Qize.
Jiang Qize surveyed the area. The ship had already sailed more than a kilometer from shore, and there was nothing ahead or to either side except open sea.
He nodded.
Receiving the signal, Ba Wang pressed a red button.
"Wooo~"
A strange sound resonated.
Light flared inside each cannon around the hull as terrifying energy converged.
Then, under Crocodile's stunned gaze, beams of light blasted outward.
Boom! Boom! Boom!!
The beams struck the ocean several kilometers away, triggering deafening explosions. Massive shockwaves rolled outward, sending towering waves sweeping across the sea.
