Fulen didn't dilly-dally. Seeing Kvedo's serious face, he didn't say much. He simply took the scroll he was about to return to Kvedo and said with equal solemnity, "I understand."
Kvedo, however, became playful at this moment: "Hey, why are you so serious? This is just me fulfilling my promise. Alright, let's go explore the Bazaar together. Speaking of which, it's been a long time since I've been to an Extraordinary Bazaar."
Fulen didn't say much either. After all, today's main purpose was to visit the Extraordinary Bazaar and Extraordinary Gathering. However, some miscellaneous things happened, and he hadn't had the chance to see what a true Extraordinary Bazaar looked like. As for the Extraordinary Gathering, Kvedo would naturally take them to see it later.
Kvedo was a man of action. After speaking, without waiting for Fulen to react, he directly hummed a cheerful tune with a Trier accent, appearing very joyful.
The Extraordinary Bazaar was naturally different from the bustling markets Fulen had seen before, and of course, it was also very different from regular stores. Customers in various clothes moved among the stalls of merchants who also came from diverse backgrounds.
Some customers and merchants were very cautious, wearing ordinary suits with hooded trench coats over them. Although the light from the candles made the basement as bright as day, they seemed to prefer to stay in the Darkness, only revealing their mouths and the surrounding skin.
However, some customers were much bolder, dressed in obviously luxurious clothes, adorned with jewelry, and with charming expressions on their faces, scanning mystical items stall by stall; while some merchants wore ordinary clothes, with weathered faces, but the items on their stalls were different from the talismans of their counterparts, instead being bloody animal organs or materials, and of course, plants.
Fulen found the items in the Bazaar interesting, but also wanted to know if there were many Beyonder materials. So, he tapped his glabella twice and looked at over a dozen stalls, only to find one or two selling items with Beyonder aura. He generally understood then that many merchants in this Extraordinary Bazaar probably just made some random things to lure those wealthy people who liked the mystical world.
Kvedo understood when he saw Fulen stop and observe the surrounding stalls. He then looked at Fulen's eyes with interest, and when Fulen noticed his gaze, he quickly leaned close to Fulen and whispered, "Hey, Fulen, was that your Spirit Vision just now? How is it? Can you see things beyond the Beyonder aura? My Spirit Vision can only see Beyonder aura, ah, and of course, I can vaguely see some more colors, but those colors are mixed and hard to distinguish."
Fulen was startled when Kvedo asked about Spirit Vision, knowing that Kvedo was not a novice in the Beyonder world, and without thinking too much, he replied, "Well, my Spirit Vision probably can't even compare to yours. After all, you don't have a Beyonder ability like mine, while I have the Beyonder ability to 'Open the Door'."
Kvedo followed Fulen's train of thought and asked with interest, "Fulen, do you think there's a difference in strength among each Sequence 9? Or are the spiritualities granted by Sequence 9 the same when viewed comprehensively?"
Fulen understood Kvedo's implied meaning and replied, "Although I haven't met other Sequence 9s, just hearing you talk about your Spirit Vision, I feel that the comprehensive Beyonder abilities given by each Sequence 9 potion are the same. My Spirit Vision can only see Beyonder aura, but I can't see the colors you mentioned at all, not even blurry colors. I see the colors of Beyonders as a mixed color, and ordinary people as another color. I can't describe it accurately, but I know the difference between the two."
Kvedo understood immediately and stopped pressing the matter. Fulen then turned off his Spirit Vision. After turning it off, Fulen still felt some mental exhaustion, though not significant. However, Fulen knew in his heart that if he opened his Spirit Vision recklessly, his spirituality would soon be depleted.
Thinking of this, Fulen couldn't help but sigh. Beyonders with high spirituality were still good, even if they didn't have powerful physical qualities or strange Beyonder abilities. Being able to lie low was undoubtedly the greatest skill, and powerful Spirit Vision was even more beneficial for Beyonders in the early stages to lie low.
An outgoing person would clearly be a shrewd and capable individual, and Kvedo demonstrated this perfectly. In the time that followed, Kvedo took Fulen from one stall to another, asking questions, and some of the reliable stall owners seemed quite familiar with Kvedo. Although Kvedo didn't generously buy any Beyonder materials, he would jokingly say 'next time for sure,' then chat for a couple of sentences with a smile before taking Fulen to the next one.
Fulen had originally wanted to check the time, but seeing the various bizarre items and genuine or fake Beyonder materials in the Bazaar, he no longer wanted to constantly keep an eye on the time, lest he ruin his hard-earned desire to shop and browse.
While Fulen was observing the Bazaar with Kvedo, he heard Kvedo chat with a stall owner for a few sentences, then stand up and look at Fulen with a smile, saying, "Alright, Fulen, we should go."
Fulen hadn't seen Kvedo take out his pocket watch, so he became interested in Kvedo's time judgment. Then, he took out his pocket watch from his clothes and checked the time, which was exactly around 3:50. He then asked with interest, "Kvedo, I didn't see you take out your pocket watch to check the time. Can your Beyonder ability allow you to accurately judge the time?"
Kvedo raised his right index finger and then wagged it, shaking his head while muttering, "No, no, no, no."
After building up Fulen's anticipation, he immediately gave a mischievous smile and raised his right hand, signaling Fulen to come closer. Once Fulen was close, Kvedo pulled down the sleeve of his right hand, revealing a clean right hand with something resembling a modern-day wristwatch.
However, this watch felt substantial, and its exterior was covered in gears and instruments with a heavy metal, cyberpunk feel. Although Fulen wasn't very interested in this aspect, he could tell that this watch was like a ferocious motorcycle, possessing an indescribable charm for someone Fulen's age.
Fulen looked at Kvedo thoughtfully and asked, "Did you make this?"
Kvedo chuckled, "That's right, I made this. Don't let its rough appearance fool you; if you wear it for a few days, you'll fall in love with this peculiar pocket watch."
